Only 39 men in an entiure company? This seems more like platoon strength, even by Soviet standards. Was the 9th company understrength through previous combat losses? Or was this a standard coplement for VDV Airbourne companies? I read It consited of two platoons and a weapons section. So depending on the size of the Company HQ and weapons section, less than 15 men in a platoon?
Love how these Russian soldiers are so shit at their job they are unable to hit an extremely large group of guys walking towards them in a blob at a slow speed.
