Are you using 1x3 boards - I don’t think you mention their size in the tutorial

I am watching your video over and over since 2 months. Occasionally I find details that I did not value enough before. 1:22 How do you do the math to combine those angles? Interesting.

How did you mount the rotating screw in each pillar? Do you have prong nuts there? Do you have any plans or detailed pictures how you did it?

Hi, Many thanks for putting this video together it provided me some inspiration to build my own. Mine was for a single bed and I decided to make it wall mounted. I cut a rebate along the sides and top and dropped an LED track light in - my teenage daughter is delighted!!

It might be difficult if you needed to tilt the blade. You have limited access tin the back area that is needed to set the angle.

Looks like something I'd build. Guy came to the shop. Asked him what he thought of a similar contrivance. Said it looked about like a diamond in a billy goats ... ummm ... rectum.

Looks awesome!! Only thing I would critique is... whenever you glue two board faces or edges together, spread the glue before clamping. The squeeze out can be cleaned up with a damp rag and the crack between the two surfaces is filled with the glue. Sanding makes it look like a single solid piece. Great design! Good job!

Nice .... But for me I think that I'd mount the headboard to the wall using a french cleat. Mostly cause if I need to pull the bed out I hate when the headboard legs drag through the carpet. However, nice headboard.

Hey that's a bloody good job me matey... I've got my own workshop and I'm looking at ideas of a dust hood for my mitre saw as well... Mine is actually outdoors in the backyard and the wind blows the dust around the neighborhood...lol. I'll be building mine so that the dust drops down into a bin though... thanks very much for your idea there... From Cairns Australia... Well done buddy.
@dancahill9122
@dancahill9122 5 лет назад
Your mitre saw is outside AND YOU'RE WORRYING ABOUT DUST IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD ! ! What are you doing, using your mitre saw 8 hrs a day ! ? I have two suggestions. 1. Let nature help you. When it rains, that dust is taken out of the air by the water droplets ! Don't try to re-invent the wheel ! ! 2. If you are THAT CONCERNED about dust in the air........... maybe you should stop woodworking.

@@dancahill9122...Can't stop working... I'm trying to make this my livelihood, hence dust collector hoods for my machinery... I make herb garden stands out of pallet timber that people like to buy from me... Anyway thanks for the advice.
