Here’s where The Werks showcase their sensational blend of rock and deep electronic funk beloved by fans across the musical spectrum. On their forthcoming LP Magic, they transcend their jamband roots while never losing their identity. Poignant songwriting and engaging melody come together on a record that showcases their maturation as a multidimensional group of uniquely creative musicians.
Still to this day this band was the drunkest and highest I have ever while at a show everyone was passing blunts and buying beers for everyone. I was so fucked up I don't even know how I got home
Found these guys through spotify discovery queue recently, and this blew me away. The bass player is the chillest dude ever. His whole vibe is that he's just chilling on the beach with a pina colada thinking 'man, this is some cool music'. Meanwhile, his hands, completely of their own accord, are making magic.
I saw these guys on new years eve in Columbus Ohio. Top 3 one of the funnest concerts I've been to. Top 5 most fucked up moment in my life I was blackout drunk have no idea how I got back to cincy
Looking at the tour in the description is like: WHOA! That's an unrelenting tour for three months with only about 10 days off those three months! Gotta love the soul and passion these guys put in! I am always inspired by the playing in this band! Much love also from MI. -Dave
I know a story someone gave away his life Just a pawn in a sacrificial fight He spent his whole life, never lived a single day What did he live for Hey... hey... hey... are you living just to die My... my... my... it's good to be alive Hey... hey... hey... are you living just to die My... my... my... it's... I know another man who lived a different way He spent his whole life just living for today Never was afraid to listen to his heart Or reach for the sky Hey... hey... hey... are you living just to die My... my... my... it's good to be alive... The world keeps on turning its parts are the sum, Everything is one Live for the moment follow your heart It begins when it starts We all know there's problems we all have our fears We all have a reason to push through the years Knowing that it's good to be alive... Alive...
7 years ago?.......lmao Love you guys...if you only knew...or did you? The charge inside the crystal ball, a gift to some but not to all. When hairs become mountains you can not cross, the larger perspective may have been lost. Growth is insistent for US all...maybe if I pass through Ohio I'll run into y'all😉... J.S.
Thank you all for the awesome jam...this hits home for me in many ways, and I know I'm never alone...but I sure am all by myself alot...but there aren't many that can relate to my situations lol smh...feet forward and fighting for a brighter tomorrow for all...Keep on jammin J S
This weekwnd was fucking majestic. The tribute to norm at the end, i dont think there was a dry eye there. First band member i met, wakarusa 2012. Gave me a bunch of stickers and was super chill.
This song came to me when I felt there was nothing else for me in life, I was sick and was sure I was dying. I am still sick and maybe on my way out, but this song gave me the energy to keep on going. Thanks!
Looking out his farmhouse window He could see the field below There's an object in the distance watching Across the cold white snow Now it's vanished from his vision There's a pounding at the door He rushed across the floor, grabbed his trusty axe and headed down the stairs But it wasn't there anymore Now he found himself running From what, he did not know When he glanced back to catch a glimpse of what was after him, There were no prints in the snow Cool wind blew and threw back his hair He felt his soul lifted into the air He dropped back down, just at his reach The demon from the snow, he now clearly sees gnashed his teeth and heard a ghastly cry He couldn't escape and he didn't know why the demon, with his soul finally in his grasp Sank down forever into the slab
