Hello, I am Orlando S. Gondar and I have been a fine artist my whole life and currently work in the film industry. I make films, shoot video, 3d animation, music, music videos, and lots of other stuff primarily in the film & video industry based in NYC.
Currently I am working on a series for Netflix I am personally producing! yay. I finally get to focus on music and launching music careers for my new label. That has me stoked! Working with musicians rather than film producers or showing my fine art in galleries. This will be an interesting journey because I personally play guitar and piano but I never performed. Technically I probably still won't as it's the artist I'm collaborating with that I feature on the show and album but it's still awesome because I'm the writer of the show and music.
I do have a Vimeo for OSGFilms and a separate youtube for my work-related releases if you want to check them out =), some titles you can IMDB or find around the internet. Have a nice day!
i TRIED WHAT U SAID BU TIT IS SO VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND THAT HACK PACK AS U MENTION. IT WOULD BE MORE BETTER IF U HAVE JUST PUT THE LINK HERE SO THAT IT IS EASY FOR US SIR.
@@tritonpro7240 Hi, I just now found your comment, and I hope you've found a solution. It's been awhile since I've used my GH2, but any high bitrate hack would be good for cinematography. However, it is of course not really the camera or the high bitrate that is most important, but the skill of the filmmaker. Best Wishes

Find me? follow? connect? yay I'm at: instagram.com/osgondar | orlandosgondar.com | facebook.com/orlandosgondar But I rarely use social media. Two posts this year on Facebook lol and one was to cast for my miniseries, not very Facebook-like. If I produce any more tutorials or stuff like that, I will be doing things differently and I don't know what that is going to look like yet, OSGFilms.com is dead for now or forever someone bought up my domain the day I forgot to renew and they want 6 grand for it!! omg. grr.. Therefore I am Sorry. It was a ton of work but GH2 guide, the community, we did IRL meetings! lots of stuff, it was all awesome! having an impact on MFT development early on with my GH2 hacked firmware and patch packs. . Awww. good times. -music by Led Zeppelin! I edited together two performances I like.
Ok to everyone asking sorry I cannot post the links since I no longer have OSGFilms .com and someone is holding my domain hostage for like 6 grand. I refuse to pay. (no joke try to visit osgfilms .com ) The only way to have links up again would be to set up some other hosting and new website and pay to keep that up for you guys lol. Which I am not sure I want to do either. I do have orlandosgondar.com but that is my personal work page but maybe I can make a single page on there just for you and host them there. mmm ...I don't know what I want to do right now. Please be patient since my domain has been stolen and I don't want to deal with the headache. I did all this work for free in the first place. I need to figure all this headache out ok? right now its june 06 2021 the day I posted and pinned this comment. I will figure something over the next week so you can have links. Please be patient.
The point of the show is to talk about and feature music that inspired me growing up with performances from musicians I Invite to the project and feature on my show to discuss music, theory as well as the original song.. a different song is covered on every episode and performed in English for an English speaking audience. Written and Produced by Orlando S. Gondar. Filming and editing also Orlando S. Gondar. Each episode stars a different musician.
ok guys im sorry but I took a hiatus for a while to focus on my career so OSGFilms kinda just died off.. After writing books and thousands of hours of work for my community. It just wasn't sustainable anymore. I did it for fun so sinking a ton of money into doing something nice was no longer working out. I did however start a website for my portfolio at orlandosgondar .com so I promise to repost the article I wrote with the old links ok? This is 8 months late lol but let me know if you still want my camera firmware.

Thank you, its just some test footage but I ended up sharing it. At the time hacking the GH2 and testing anything that would work as a wide lens was a popular subject.
Thanks! It was a dinner party for my friend's wine brand. Which is why I do some of those product shots. It was fun, I mostly shot it for my roommates. I thought it was unlisted lol. I guess I will keep it public. Glad you liked it!
@@OSGondar what brand? And it looks like a blast.. I got a friend who makes absinthe.. I would do a photo shoot for her brand but I tend to get really messed up when I get around the stuff. You should expand your channel.
@@mattsalon7007 I will definitely expand my channel. It is now my new year's resolution. In particular, this youtube and my Instagram @ instagram.com/orlando_s_gondar/ Do you have any channels you post stuff at? To answer your question I think her brand is chronicle. I added our Instagrams to the description if you want to check it out. I will be updating mine soon. I am going to post more celebrity photos and videos I've worked with.
I would guess it's a 14mm field of view. Looks like a 28mm on full frame. My lumix 7-14mm at 7mm is so much wider than this, people on the edge are very distorted. Not here. Still a nice cine lens!
Thank You for your feedback! Yes, its an issue the wider you get, it creates barrel distortion and softer focus along the edge. That is what a fisheye essentially is . You get to see so much its so crazy wide but that creates extreme distortion.
Its not exact, without the 2x zoom, or rather crop it has a ton of vignetting in the frame and looks like a pinhole more than anything else. with the crop of 2x, it fills the frame and functions much like it would as a 6mm but its closer to 10mm. Its very wide! For example all the train shots with passengers sitting down in front of me, im like a foot or two in front of them or directly in front holding on to the railing. and you can see the person and entire seating section.
Yes.. you can clearly see the comparison showing before and after etc, the pinhole looking shot and then full frame around the middle crop..its kind of the whole point of this video lol.
the flattest i could find, all settings to minus -2, on standard most likely. This video isnt a real test, im just sharing some footage i have of playing with this lens I made from a count adapter permanently in to a mft mount.
No, The GH camears GH2, GH3, GH4 have a crop setting that is basically like a 2x zoom but its not a zoom feature. IT scans a smaller portion of the 4k sensor which does cause a cropping of the image. It double the focal length of your lens, in this case its a good thing since we lose all the black. It does reduce quality and creates more grain but manages to make a decent image out of it depending lighting and the lens.
Thanks for the response TejasM14. Why did you say that using this lens is not going to provide good results? Your video is a proof that it does so good.
that's a pretty impressive little C-mount I am surprised how sharp it is. Do you have any idea from the field of view you are getting what would be the equivalent focal length. I realise it is a 6mm lens, but with the crop you are using it sort of looks like angle I get with a 12mm or 17mm lens on a M43 camera?
i doubt its as high as 17, in fact its probably quite closer to the original 6mm since without the 2x crop its almost a pinhole look. Cutting out just enough to use the center to fill the frame makes it function much like it would normally, it may zoom in a little more than a native camera would use sure but its not as much as 17mm. I would guess 10mm because on the train im standing only a foot in front of them or the camera right in there face and still you see a good seating area. I am sure its wider than my 20mm noticeably, i say that from comparing similar shots.
