You and me both - never miss them when they come around! I have said countless times - I don't care your music preference, there is no way you can see this band live, and not be entertained!
I came on a little late, around 2013, but then just brought a group out to see you at the Continental Club in April and you were killing it, with a drummer for the first time (for me, anyway). I also brought my 91 year-old mom out to see you there back in '14. She loved it and Ochi Chornye was her favorite. Wish I could get up to Mexia this weekend. I didn't know that Elana wasn't taking the lead vocals much back then. And I'm wondering if Eva was even born yet. Love you guys and I'm glad to see Jake making the rounds with you for a bit.
So, I saw y'all play dingy bar, the Star Bar in L5P in Atlanta, after a friend suggested it, in about 1997 or1998. I casein deaf (i.e.blind, with no knowledge of your music).Y'all blew me away. I wore out your first two album and have checked in over the years. Keep it up, you are part of the soundtrack worth hearing. Thank you!
