That's such a powerful combination of parametric and sub-D modeling. That means the Sub-D component is modeled to the EXACT dimensions that the engineer guy wishes (not an arbitrary 0.1mm larger or smaller like most pure sub-D models are). You need to update this tutorial with sound and maybe go a bit slower.
Is there a video comparing the difference between blender, power surfacing, and rhino t-spline? I've tried doing sub-D modeling on all of them but find power surfacing so much easier. Plus it's integrated with Solidworks. Are there limitations with power surfacing vs the other sub-D modelers?
