Yup. No offering there but I did get the honey which is cool. It smells and tastes floral! Pretty wild. Also, local honey = local allergy relief through assimilation, no?
I don't like the term "Parkway." It's too liberally used. The Garden State (and I used to live in the City of Brooklyn) is like a full-fledged freeway or highway and if I'm not mistaken trucks are allowed on most of these highways called parkways. Parkways are strictly, from all my travels across the country, a New York/Brooklyn thing. And even then the only real Parkway is the Belt, and I hate that Parkway. I hate Parkways
Whats annoying is when I watch on my phone it doesn't show as a view here on the laptop. Hmnn. You prob know that as I feel like u know everything but mentioning it. Listened here so could liseten again as there's a lot you're saying that may go over some people's heads...or not. Good to listen to things you hear and don't hear. And, pay attention to things not always said. Thanks!

All the leaves for next summer are already developing inside those small tree buds. They technically exist already. They probably are 2 millimeters in size and not differentiated to leaf forms yet and just a tiny green dot inside the zygotic blossoms inside the dormant buds.
Plants are tough, always wanting to grow and thrive. It always amazes me how fast they will bud (or at least try) given the slightest bit of reason to do so. Early colonists would place glass bowls over young seedings planted in late Fall in order to provide at least some veggies during Winter.
Thats outstanding. Mini greenhouses. I am amazed annually as to how some dormant plants try to spring to life in an instant. Yet to see several refuse to go dormant is a little much. I hope those I showed don't end up overly shocked. Not an end all but hacking hydrangea or a rose bush to the ground after the stems flash freeze and die isnt overly desirable. We will see what it does!
I live in Boston Ma. As usual I appreciate your successful effort to capture and explain our currrent weather conditions. I am glad you showed up on Twitter. T have seen and appreciated you work since back when Weatherunderground provided a platform for a robust community of weather nerds. I miss that community. Wishing you a holiday season of good weather and good times with your loved ones.
Grew up in eastern monmouth county. Left in 2016 for se MA. We did not have much wildlife there, wayward deer mostly. Only ran into the turkeys further inland, ie, biking Turkey Swamp Park, etc.
