Out of curiosity. Is that a OEM hardtop replacement glass from ballade or is it just aftermarket ? Stuck on whether or not I wanna do what you did or get the glass upgrade through forbidden.
ps: freon is not a consumable. It doesn't get used up in the process of using the AC .... just as an example your fridge is full of freon and it works for years on end without needing a refill;)
Mine stopped working after i put r134a on my system..it blows but warm air not cold..but from what i read the 2017 honda Civic can't handle the new r1234yf..i hope i didn't mess up my system with the r134a
That has worked (so far) for me. The grille was about half loaded with dog hair. Hopefully that's the only issue. The "Check hybrid system" warning has gone off, though I disconnected the battery to reset everything. Thanks!!!

I have a 2013 C and i love ir with 97k miles. Great on gas. Not worried about speed. Catalytic converter is tucked upward. I still got a security plate for it. Love this car.
I have a 2019 I bought in 2020. Warranty expired. My ac isn’t working. Who do I call at Honda or do you know a number I can call to see if my car is on the list
It's not a problem with the Prius C that a$$#ole thieves steal catalytic converters. Someone stole the catalytic converter on my Ford F-250. I guess you could say it's a problem with the truck because it's high off the ground so a$$#ole thieves can easily slide under there and cut it off.
Ive driven a few s2000s but never an FG2 civic Si. How would you say the power delivery and sound of the Si's K20 compares to the s2000s motor? They look very similar on paper. Very helpful review btw!
My biggest complaint are two things on the interior. One, the part of the door where you rest your elbow has zero padding. I don't expect luxury but come on, just a little bit of padding would have went a long way. Two, the dead pedal cuts is cramped. I get it, it's a sub compact, there isn't a lot of room. Still uncomfortable. Other than that, this car is awesome!
Fyi you can get colored plexiglass. Just look up a plexiglass vendor in your city,and they will sell you a blackened piece cut however you want. Makes it look like tint. Cost me like 80 bucks!
You have to call HONDA and give them the VIN and they will run it and let you know in accordance with the TSB. It's been a while, but I called around before I got connected to the right department to run my VIN. It's a hastle, but worth if you don't want to spend the money to fix your AC.
I hear you, I went with a Prius and a CT200H and haven't had one single issue besides changing oil and new tires and preventative maintenance. I do like the older 2000 Hondas, I think those were engineered a lot better.
I'd start with the basic fluid changes: oil, transmission fluid, coolant (engine and inverter fluid), air filters, spark plugs and cleaning the hybrid fan and getting good tires.
