Which cocktail party are you referring to? I can tell you we did events in the Neptune Lounge, Club Orange and everywhere in between and it was very much “wear what you want”. We still have fun playing dress up and do formal on formal night, but it’s definitely not required, and most don’t! It didn’t seem strict at all. I think the only real requirement was pants for men at night in Club Orange. Many days I would walk into Neptune Lounge with a swimsuit and coverup to grab something and I was completely fine.
The “cocktail party with Neptune Lounge” was very informal night one or night 2. They poured wine and discussed what Neptune Lounge could do for you. High tea reservations etc., very informal. Any attire was fine for that reception.
I also have a corner aft Neptune Suite on an upcoming cruise. I noticed you said “a bottle” of champagne. The HA website says a glass of champagne on departure. Is it truly a bottle? We were going to bring one on, but if it’s truly a bottle we won’t have to! Thanks for your time!
Enjoy your cruise! Neptune Lounge (the lounge for Neptune and Pinnacle suite guests) offered a glass of champagne when we first boarded the ship and went to the lounge to check it out. Then, our cabin had a complementary bottle of sparkling wine (and two complementary bottles of water) when we first got to the cabin. In addition to that, complementary mimosas were available through room service during breakfast (I believe the complementary hours there were 6am-10am, but don’t quote me on that). And, Club Orange offered complementary mimosas with breakfast in the private dining room. This is how it was on our sailing on a Pinnacle Class ship in April of 2024.
Nice! I thought all Neptune suite had a vanity desk area as well as a soaker tub in addition to the separate standing shower? How far in advance did you have to give laundry, and when did you get it back? Thanks!
Pinnacle Class aft corner wrap-around Neptune Suites don’t have the tub, and the vanity desk is set up a bit different than those on deck 7 (where most Neptune Suites are). I don’t think the forward facing Neptune Suites on deck 10/11 do either, but the deck plans should confirm the configuration. When we were onboard laundry was a 24 hour turnaround, however we asked for ours sooner and they accommodated no problem! The Neptune Concierge team really makes anything you ask for (within reason of course) happen!

If you can work a Neptune suite into your budget, we have found this is the best way to travel on HAL. We now book our sailings based on Neptune Suite availability. Try an Aft Neptune one day. They are awesome. Thanks for sharing

You are welcome! So glad we were able to share our experience. It was a beautiful cabin. I don’t know how we will ever top that wrap around balcony. It was the perfect way to celebrate our 20 year anniversary of meeting on the Rotterdam❤️. A bit different than the crew cabins we had back then!
