1989 i was 13....all i had heard was Phil Collins,Tina Turner,A Ha, Fleetwood Mac you know...the usuall stuff played on the radio...boring for a kid of 13....then around my 14th birthday a friend gave me a tape cassette....it was blue and just said PLEASUREDOME on the front....i was not prepared for the ear orgasm i was about to have...like WTF is this....then about 2 months later my mum said...were moving to Chapel st Leonards ...turns out it was 30 mins walk from Skeggy...after being in skeggy for a few months and making a few friends i played my cassette in my room with my mate....thats when i learned my life was about to change....My mate said "my brother goes there all the time" you all know what the next 10 to 12 years of my life revolved around lol....thank god i was the perfect age and in the perfect place....i never missed a gig at the dome....it will always have a place in my memories.....and thank god for the internet keeping the vibe alive....it will never be the same and that time will never repeat but i fucking lived it....Slipmatt,Hixxy,SY,Dougal,Clarkey,Vibes just a few of my faves....HWND.....BIG UP PLEASUREDOME MASSIVE..... Even in 2022 its still a great piece of compostion forget rap and rubbish of current times 1980's, right up to final years of 1990's music was so much better
