Could you be a little more specific with your Chili power packs. Is it the same as chili powder in a jar. Or something other. And if so the amount as per table spoons or oz's. Thanks
Meat probe on my last cook seemingly stalled at 150 degrees with meat temp set at 190. I placed in boiling water and it would only get up to 180. The delta is close to the same, any idea what the issue might be?
I’ve already had two of these, they gave me a new one because the first one didn’t work, the second one is such a pain in the ass to connect to your phone, you can get it to connect and then the next time you use it it’s like you have to completely start over from scratch, $250 for a little piece of plastic with a fan inside of it is absolutely ridiculous what a piece of crap
Light to moderate rain should not hurt it . I wouldn’t use during heavy or torrential rains. If using an extension cord make sure you use a cord made for outdoor use . It wouldn’t hurt to put apiece of foil over it but don’t seal it, this will help if it does start raining harder.
No WiFi in the Backyard ! I simply used a 12volt Fan, power by a 12volt 50watt Solar Panel with a Temp prob, and a 12v Relay.... via Blue Tooth... total cost $89.50... and it's all water prof and has Grill Temp & Meat Probe !
This is the Jeff I know. He on the short list of my favorite people on the planet. His sense of humor is off the charts. You will never be bored around this guy. I’m glad that Jeff and Denise did this video. He was starting to appear to serious in these videos. 😁
The pit temperature will always be hotter than the dome temperature because of where the coals and the dome being further away from the pit. The cooking grid surface will also be hotter than the dome temperature.
