Meperidine or also called Pethidine (Tradename: Demerol ), IS NOT AN OPEN CHAIN OPIOID. You Forgot TO Mention the ""PIPERIDINE Ring "" which is also on the morphine molecule. That huge looking ring that holds the Tertiary Nitrogen is a PIPERIDINE Ring. Matter of fact Demerol is derived from it. And that's what you are looking at. Methadone lacks the PIPERIDINE Ring. It's an open chain or straight chain of morphine.
Great review, dude! Maybe one of the best I’ve seen on the blur! Tnx! Question, what your weight? I’m @ 230 and looking for a more xc oriented bike but not sure how this one would hold up. I don’t do drops or ride overly aggressive @ 55 yrs I’ve learned to hold back a bit. I can’t find my replacement body parts @ my lbs 😅😂
@@alvindiazmarquez I’m about 170. At 230, you might be pushing the limitations of the shock if you also add in weight for all your kit. I’ve got an ex-power lifter friend who’s a bit younger than me (mid to late 40’s) and is in the 250 range. He tends to prefer coil shocks and chunkier bikes. His XC bike is a Transition Smuggler with an aftermarket coil fork and shock. I think he runs Carbon rims to offset the weight from the coil setup. It’s a lighter setup than his enduro/all Mtn bikes but can handle his weight better. Plus the geometry is more forgiving than the Blur. Wish I could provide you more details on running the Blur with heavier weight, but I’d honestly think something like what my friend did may work better for you. Plus, the Blur can get pretty twitchy in rough, steep terrain. It’s a fun feeling, but not very forgiving. Something like a smuggler could be a good compromise between robustness and weight saving.
Intensive care resident here, this helped A LOT. 13 years later and there wasn't much I found online that explained in this much detail in a way that made sense. Thanks a lot
Yeah I have an iso on order supposed to be here in June 18 I believe I'm kind of getting skeptical now. Last year I purchased a vitus sentier vrs. and the customer service was top-notch answered the phone every time I called answered all my questions annoying or not however two months later I find out that they're out of business I hope that's not the case with this company. Secondly if YT or yeti or any brands like that selling a bike with components from another manufacturer I think it would be up to them to take care of it if they're not gonna take care of it then don't put those components on the bike
Hey you seem very knowledgeable, ketamine gave me permanent brain damage and nobody believes anything I say, nobody on Reddit believes a word I say because it is the strangest thing that ever happened to me and to be honest it ruined my life. Perhaps if you are well versed in ketamines mechanism of action you could potentially help me figure out exactly what happened but it's pretty bad and it's permanent, this happened a year ago and my brain never healed all the way. If you could reach out to me I would love your opinion on wtf could have possibly happened to me, I don't have healthcare to get a brain scan and even that doesn't give me hope I'll get the answer I'm looking for. Thank you
Hello, would love to reach out to you and ask whether this can be applied in building structures where I want air to vent out from the roof in increased pressure, only that the tube would be vertical. Perhaps you can provide email? That would be great and would highly appreciate it. Thanks!
A few thoughts on the Izzo, I wonder if you feel the same about it. I switched from a Bronson I have put a few hundred miles on mine. The rear shock is very difficult to lock out / adjust on the fly. The upper rear triangle links are chunky and one can hit the inside of your knees on them as you pedal The rear shock sits in a pocket in the lower frame. This fills up with grime and moisture.
Yeah; the high end Izzo was built around a remote lockout but that doesn’t translate to models without the lockout system. I actually swapped the rear shock out for a TTX, making the lockout lever much easier to use. You are right about the “shock gutter” collecting debris. It gives the bike some personality. Coming from a Bronson, the Izzo is likely a bit of a change. It runs similar to the Blur TR but with slacker geometry.
i think the reason i have seen stated by people who ran the trial why OOHCA was excluded is a lot of them will already have hypoxic brain injuries which a impella will not fix, they point out not to extrapilate to these patients would be a interesting question for future study though
If you haven't tried this yet, remove the two red spacers in the fox shocks negative chamber. You will have to add more air and figure out the correct pressure to get your sag right. The shock will feel much better going through its travel.
~6:16 It is my understanding that when someone is bitten by a snake, that the venom compounds cause extreme coagulation -- almost to the point of gell. I did a quick check online to confirm this generalization, but maybe it is venom specific and not ubiquitous across all snake venom. Maybe the applicability is evolution related to size of animal. Since the mouse is so small, the venom actually aids in better digestion. but with larger animals like humans or dear, the wound size coagulates to the extreme -- locking in the venom at host site. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2133514/
More easy single formula (D*q*t*body wight)/ a* 1000 D is desired dose Q is total quantity used( usuallywe dilute as total 50ml or 100ml) T time i.e 60 min Body weight A amont of drug use( in this case 200 mg dopamine is used)
Ive laughably thought about a second izzo because i love my uncaged 7 build so much. Even the 120 / 120 has me having more fun then on the 140 / 130 build i had before.
The BICAR ICU trial did not look at cardiac arrest in the pre-hospital environment. It looked at approximately 400 critically ill patients admitted to French ICU's.
W. Eugene Smith documented the disaster now known as Minamata disease in Japan you spoke about. It wasn't an accident , Chisso Corp dumped mercury into the water for years and years knowingly.
Six months ago, I sought your advice regarding size selection on your "Introducing the YT Izzo: Core 2" video. I opted for an XL, which proved to be fine. I also got it on December for €1,999.00. I concur on the NX drivetrain. It works ok. My major issiue is with the Crankbrothers Synthesis wheels. Initially skeptical about acquiring 26mm width rims in 2024, I relied on positive reviews and proceeded with the purchase. Now, with nearly 400km logged on the bike, the rims are out of true and woobly, exhibiting not only lateral deviations but also radial ones, both front and rear! They are well beond the zip tie truing trick and need to go on a bike shop workstand. The rims are also heavily scarfed! They look like DTSwiss rims after 3000Km. I was really disapointed with them, since I was thinking to upgrate to an XD driver. Regrettably, I am now in search of a new, more updated wheelset with high engagment and 30mm wide rims. I really enjoy your videos. I always appreciate the heads-up. Keep on riding!
This is a long shot, but any chance you work at the hospital at Laguna in SF and ride the trails there ? (Nevermind, later in the video you make it clear it’s not SF )
I recently took delivery of a YT Izzo Core 2. Waiting anxiously for the weather to warm-up enough to ride and your video is making me quite disturbed. Hope your experience is an exception and hope that you get your issues resolved to your satisfaction.
Don't worry about any of the issues here. It mostly sounds like bad luck (possibly combined with some errors in set up). I bought the core 4 on clearence and had about 2 weeks of riding on it, mine has been flawless (save for some shifting adjustment out of the box) and I'm riding much more aggressively, on more technical terrain. While we don't know the exsct issue with the shock, it sounds like a set up problem. There is always float fluid in the air chamber and it can, especially with the upside down shock configuration, shoot oil out at you. I tend to flip the bike upside down, when adding or releasing air, it makes a huge difference. On the note of stiffness on the rear end, I also think that could have been a shock set up issue. When yt dropped the grip shift suspension lockout, they added an extra negative volume reducer to the shock, ehich adds firmness. it could be related to that, or because travel was involved, elevation changes could have had a massively negative impact on the rear end feel here. The moral of your story is: check your shock and fork pressures (as well as sag) any time you travel. If you're staying put, check them once a week.
