about a year after bill made this how-to-do-it video on the hubless rear wheel, I saw a video of a custom motorcycle show in Bangcock Thialand and there was this guy riding a small harley with his own version of bills inspired rear hubless wheel.
4:00 First time I tried adjusting spokes on a bicycle wheel, they were for sure worse afterwards. Since then I've built a couple wheels, and with a little time and practice, you can get them surprisingly straight. Seems daunting after first lacing one up and it isn't even close to straight in any direction.
This is by far tye best bike you've built so far. But I am bias towards inline 4s since my uncle first taught me to ride on his 31 inline 4 back in 1983.
Why would anyone do that friction drive thing? I’ve seen them on bicycles and they’re really stupid and generic, aftermarket things. Remarkably inefficient too.
People don't realize it's a dumb idea to start with. The trouble with hubless wheels is, the bearing diameter has to be so large the rollers inside the bearings will be spinning 30-40 times faster than regular hub bearings per wheel/tire revolution. Large diameter bearings are designed for heavy load not high-speed. I've seen large diameter bearings explode with far less rpms.
This is the old egotistical Billy before he killed that guy on the motorcycle while bly was driving drunk. Now a days he doesn't talk and blab his mouth like before.he isn't the same jackoff he was once
I remember Billy’s bike caught on fire in the bikers build off. Then billy got cocky to the cop that was spraying the fire extinguisher on the bike to put out the fire by saying to the cop that the cop needed to pay for damaging his paint job . Billy you need to shut your wise mouth and be humble.
