Global Guardians Conservation Fund promotes and assists unique conservation efforts. These videos are from the conservancies I work with, people who have volunteered through GGCF or from my travels to Africa. Visit our website to see our range of volunteer programs and to see how you can help.
Thanks Alaiddin. It's the guys on the ground who deserve the praise though. I've seen your email and sent you a reply. Hopefully we can help you get involved.
Weapons and video... don't forget the ghille. Thank you for doing whats right. Don't forget to dance and celebrate the lives you help as well as your own.
Hi Ronnie, as long as you can see clearly with your glasses it shouldn't be a problem to join the training. Sadly it has increased in Botswana and we would love to train some rangers who want to work there! You can email me here for further details info@gguardians.org.
Being an anti poaching ranger is more about protecting them than interacting. There are close encounters though. They are wild animals for the most part but if you are lucky or spend enough time doing it you might get the chance to interact with them doing relocations or veterinary related things.
Kurt Stellmacher I completed the AP course required to volunteer in this particular area. There are a few different options that don't require training though.
