TRUE! About OTTERBOX. CRAPPY DEFENDER CASES. PLUS OTTERBOX CUSTOMER CARE REPS. NO MORE OTTERCRAP FOR ME. I PURCHASED MY PELICAN SHIELD YESTERDAY. MAY 25 2020 FOR ONLY $5. THATS RIGHT. FROM AT&T. BECAUSE THEY ARE ON CLEARANCE. PELICAN SEEMS TO BE PRETTY NICE. AND WITH BETTER SPECS THAN OTTERBOX CASES.
my biggest question is how grippy is it? I hate cases that don't have any kinda of grippy rubber atleast around the edges and corners. Does it grip into your hand or on a table surface pretty well?
Thanks I clicked the buy button after watching your review and seeing it does have port covers. Something that is not shown on amazons picture of this item. s9+
Cheers for the update man! Case looks great and most importantly walks the talk and actually protects your phone. Il be buying one! One question, do you run a screen cover? I’ve seen Whitestone Dome are the only ones that work with the finger print and was wondering if it would fit with the case? Cheers from down under 🤘
Should I get the shield or Voyager. Like the port covers but I heard the Voyager has higher lips for the front. I want to have the bumpers higher than the screen and ports covered preferably
How well does it protect the left and right edges of the screen? I couldn't care less about side panels from the Samsung UI. Also, I kinda wish they added grip to the rubber bumper :/
How is the clearance for the headphone jack? Are there some headphone jacks that are too thick and aren't able to be plugged in smoothly? The same goes for different brands of charging cables.. when not using wireless charging of course.
Thanks for the video will b buying one as I was going to buy the otterbox defender p.s as we do need the protection for these phones. Aside that it can b quite expensive to keep replacing the parts that break the most if not replacing the whole phone
I have dropped in numerous times already, some from 8ft plus...zero scratches....look up my page, I do have an updated video and will also make another video to show use.
Thanks for the video update! I might just have to go and pick this one up tomorrow. It's got more than enough screen protection on the sides, and it doesn't compromise edge functionality. It's amazing how it can be so durable without having any impact absorbing material on the inside back of the case. Has the phone come apart from the case when dropped? The latches make for easy installation, sure, but that's my last question I have about it. Thanks again!
Hey everyone, sorry I have not made a follow up video yet...been out of town with family....going to do a follow up video tonight for everyone, and will answer all questions!
Have you received your device? It would be great to see the case installed. I ordered one from Amazon because as a lifelong Defender case owner, it seems that the Defender has an issue with the wireless poweershare device functionality.
Can you make an updated video once you get the phone, to see what it looks like in the case and show how far above (or below) the screen the case sits on the sides? Also, would you demonstrate if there's any difficulty swiping on either side? I'm still trying to decide between this case or the Defender Pro, so those issues, along with the overall grip and ease to put on and take off will help me make my choice. I'd really appreciate it, because no one else has made any video discussing the Pelican Shield so far.
@@Colt0341Chase With wireless charging, I will be ordering one.this case and the UAG Monarch are the 2 best looking cases that offer exceptional drop protection. Thanks for the review.
@@brandonkreider9376 otterbox is junk and has been since they have been produced in China. I had an otterbox on my S8 and it took a 2 foot fall and cracked the screen...2 FEET! I have had a Pelican Voyager case on it ever since and have had way bigger drops and no issues. Otterbox used to be decent, then they bought lifeproof and sent the production to China.
colt well maybe I’ll try the pelican case but in my experience the otter box has always been gold ...I work construction and I drop my phone ALL the time always in mid sand diet etc ...always been bullet proof ....BUT if it’s made in China ,which I didn’t know , I’ll switch but it didn’t look like it had a screen protector I just don’t see how it could be better for me
I'm 6'1-2" 230-270 and ride big bore 2 strokes, sounds like this bike is meant for me. ;p Thanks for the input, I should have mine by the end of the month!
this bike handles flawlessly, it has some weight to it, so to get it into a lean around a corner can be a bit challenging., after you get used to the bike being a bit top heavy, it will feel like an extension of your body
I love my alien headlights! Google Triumph Sprint space alien. Peace. BTW go to 18t front gives you much better in-town response. I have Powermax undertail on mine as well. It rips.
Going down a tooth on the output shaft will give you more low end, not top. It's opposite for the rear sprocket. usually around 3:1, 3 teeth in rear for every 1 tooth front. How does this bike handle?
