Hi. First of all thank you so much for all the valuable information you are sharing to help others. I found your acct because I was specifically looking for someone doing seafood, SPECIFICALLY crab boils. So your videos came up. My daughter and I are hoping to get a truck in tbe near future. In the meantime we are doing what we have to do. My question is, what would I need on my truck to do low country crab boils? Do you actually cook everything on the truck? What licenses, certificates, registrations would one need? Any info in that area is GREATLY appreciated. Blessings
I’m here to help. lol. We steam our crabs. So we have a 4 burner range and steam pots. Yes we cook everything on the truck. We have warmers to keep the eggs, potatoes, corn and sausage to temperature. The heath department will tell you all the paperwork you need depending on on state you are in. Best of luck!
When I had my food trailer inspected a few weeks back I also over thought it. It took them about 2 minutes in the trailer. Like you did as well I removed anything unnecessary. So it basically had the freezer, fryer, grill slushy machine and fire extinguisher. Doing my soft opening this weekend 😅
Hey ... how is it going? I am getting an inspection on my trailer and I just thought I would check you out. Seems pretty straight forward, but, with the government you never know. haha My buddy sold his franchise , "Stoners Pizza Joint", and offered me the pizza trailer with 3 conveyour ovens in it, so I bought it. We can run pizza, wings, Pot stickers, Rib Tips, and any other munchies that we sell. My trailer is going to be.. Stoner Zone Munchies, I am having the whole Hippie Vibe Rolling ! Pun intended! How is your business going?? Beachside Baker Bobby Daytona Beach
One of my favorite plces for wings.. Bethune Diner on the strip there. It's all about the sauce!! My triple decker conveyour should be able to sling 60 pies an hour.... wings could be precooked and then heated by the hundreds . Can't wait to do... some big events. PeAcE Baker Bobby

lol. It’s a tv mount mounted on the outside. And I put it up and take it back down after each event. Got a whole drilled through the trailer and ran a plug through.
Good info. I'd add that besides all the permits and stuff you already have to have, with a truck you also have registration fees, state inspection sticker, and insurance that are all required for a motor vehicle, at least here.
You are right once you develop a following especially like on my business page and then when I get to festivals I'll do a video some customers with no that's where I'm at in previous customers from the year before at that Festival would know that I'm back this year
Thanks for the suggestion. But I’ve checked prices in my area. If I was charging double what I charge now, I wouldn’t get any business. This was a year ago. A few items have went up. But only between $1-$3.
@@PinkCollar my apologies. Lol. I thought I was responding to another comment. I had a handyman mount it. I can mount them myself in house. But with the truck, I didn’t want to hit any wire. And I used Canva to design the menu.
