Side note: WHO on the right mind set the initial code as 8848 and locks the combination inside the locker???? I spent days looking for tutorials because I bought the locker in a different country and had no way to contact the supermarked where I bought this safe. 8848, REALLY?????
I bought one of these (diferent make, but same 4 digit combination lock). After doing the 1st part and almost skiped the video, but some how I decided to read the comments and that made me finish the video / tutorial. And voilá!!!!! It was like magic... it opened after I turn the digits 5 times like it's said on the video. This is the one guys! Don't waist your time on other videos. hi, according to partsouq.com the transmission fluid is BMW ATF 6, part number 83222355599. The penrite atf bmv meets the specs, but the penrite atf lv doesn't. 🙂
I would like to add here. There are 3d printed motors being sold on Ebay, total scam. Watch for those that have larger than original impeller blades. The motors are marketed as "used" justifying a low price but they are actually 3d printed, with no scuffs whatsover but the impeller area to sit in pool of water is not re-created like the original rendering them totally useless. The design does not allow for forceful sideways into the drain expulsion of the water. wASTE OF MONEY AND SCAMMERS RUNNING FREE
Wow, excellent video. I believe with this I will be able to change it myself with no problems. Hope the cheap ODB 2 scanner I bought from Amazon will be able to accurately tell the transmission oil temperature
Now it did dip on a certain number like on this video BUT the thing didnt even open even when i rotated the combination all up by one (through the whole rotation). Maybe the unlocking device is jammed. Good video otherwise
@ippytuklulu there's some around the cylinders since the thermostat would be closed. If you want to get all old coolant out you would have to do multiple drain/fill.
@@kenkanfixok thank you. Do you have any suggestions on the most efficient way of doing the fill/drain in my situation? I have premixed coolant and I have already flushed the system with distilled water. How do I calculate how much premixed coolant to add? Wouldn’t I need to get some concentrate since I’ll never reach 50/50?
