I have a rough 1-2 shift under light throttle, 100k miles Toyota Highlander. Fresh oem fluid and filter. Got some lube gard, should i add pour it in when the trans is hot, or after sitting overnight?
This is the best practical video ever on youtube. I do some research on my aisin tf-80sc and found that new sealing rings don’t seal. I’m looking how to improve construction of sealing rings grooves. Thank you Dave😊🇺🇸🇱🇹
For almost all the modern Honda automatic transmissions I’ve helped service, most of the owners or mechanics were insistent on using the red Valvoline Max Life high mileage ATF. People were saying for the people with over 120-150k+ miles, to add the black Lubegard ATF HFM (high friction modifier), just to give that OEM Honda DW-1 ATF reliability. Some people even used 2 bottles of Lubegard ATF HFM, but I’ve never tried. I just thought that with the Max Life fluid, it would do more justice over the OEM Honda ATF (would simply need just red Lubegard ATF conditioner alone), and adding both the Lubegard HFM and red Lubegard ATF conditioner would be a good additive for of mind. I haven’t tried those other OEM Honda ATF aftermarket brands, such as Aisin or Idemitsu, but I’d say that most people don’t have issues either. Although, I’d myself personally add those same 2 Lubegard ATF additives (conditioner and HFM) when using any of those aftermarket ATF’s.
You better own this company! You went from white rapper to house flipper to this? What? Please don’t be real. You even said word to your mother. Do you need money? Got cash app? Stop doing this
So much wrong information. He says the Camry's normal fluid operating temp is between 95 - 113 degrees F. But everyone knows no automatic on the whole planet runs that cool! He says that to check the fluid level on the Camry you shut the engine off when the fluid temp reaches 95-113 degrees F and then remove the overflow plug to let the excess fluid drain. Nope - the engine is left idling when you do that.
Put the full synthetic in my 02 gmc sierra when i dropped my pan and changed the filter and cleaned magnet. Now my truck shifts like brand new and even feels like my oem plastic 1-2 accumulator is pinless just like the sonnax is
I am fighting a 5r110w torqueshift. Trouble would be when converter comes out it Aldo spills oil so powder will not show accurate trace due to converter spill Any suggestions?
Maybe get one of those snake cameras and before you completely take the tranny out as soon as you get enough space sneak that snake can in there and see if you can find the spot before you get oil swishing all over the place in there, just an idea from a middle aged buck
Dave Thank you on shine some light on the harness's as I live in OZ and need all the help we can get ,so thank once again and hope I can buy some parts from you
A universal fluid may cause a transmission to shudder. You would feel that when you are at a light and you feel a shaking sensation. If traffic is not moving and you don't expect it to in the next couple of minutes (bumper to bumper traffic), while you still have your foot on the brake shift to neutral. If that shaky feeling goes away it is probably your transmission that caused it the whole time. if it doesn't smooth out you may have one or more misfiring cylinders.
Dave needs to go to the to the corner store buy a diaper, put baby powder in it, put it on and see if he has any leaks. Words of wisdom from an old timer!
"A CVT is a type of automatic transmission that delivers seamless acceleration without interruption for gear shifts. Instead of fixed gears, it uses a pair of variable-width pulleys that are connected by a flexible belt"
Hi how r u brother?how u doing?I have honda accord model 2008 can I use the red one or no ?can u answer me please. Thank u so much and sorry for disturbing you.
Definitely should of copied the wit system since its far superior to any garage transtar will develop. I pray and hope transtar goes out of business, all the money this dump company has cost me in wrong parts or incomplete orders where half the items were missing.
Whoever designed this garbage should be fired. Transend is a complete nightmare that was developed and approved by mentally challenged people. Transend is the worst system of all transmission suppliers. Wit has a far superior website and they have had it for years and it just works amazing, Transtar should of used the wit system as the benchmark to compare to. I would do all my part ordering from my phone throughout the day as I discovered parts were needed or new jobs would come in. It has been absolutely hell since wit pulled out of the California market. Technology is not going forward its going backwards and this is proof.
