twitch chat....... someone tell him what a half back draw is!!!!! every run play this guy; "another half back draw" me yelling at my phone; "that's just a normal fucking handoff!!!!!"
So I looked on EAs website to get an official understanding of the difficulty settings. The difficulty only effects when the player is in the game. The simulations are adjusted by the AI sliders in the settings of the game. Simulations are predetermined before you watch them they are loaded in a way to be visually consumed. Hope this helps😊
I think the Coach Mode some people have mentioned sounds like it would be cool, and still fit the series imo all the management stuff still matters, and the players still play their own game for the most part, but you can pick plays to me it feels like about as much micro as when to pitstop and switch tires in F1, but it's still the driver driving y'know?
I was the guy that mentioned it last vid, and it’s actually so bad. If you press a button while the CPU is playing you’ll take control, so you basically can’t press a button, plus you have to do the kicking. Stanz doesn’t want to affect the game, which includes kicking
Would make sense, but the coach mode literally sucks and EA can’t do a simple game mode right, so he can’t do that. So the only way to watch is through slow mode
@@zandermartin3445 Yeah it’s basically either fully embrace pure “spreadsheet simulator” (which isn’t the best content) or have a decently big disadvantage
@@nameanteater4772 this is literally the worst position to be in, cause the fact is, imagine he dimmed that week that they lost by the 10 yard field goal, and didn’t watch, he would have no clue what would have happened, so he wouldn’t have thought about scouting a new kicker. The fun part about sim games when your watching, is it’s about the eye test. People who just sim a week see the stats, but knowing how you lost, or how a play looks determines how Stanz recruits cause he’s trying to make this realistic, and so eye test matter more to him
BROMAIN some things about CFB #1 stop worrying about difficulty, its irrelevant #2 stop worrying about overalls and start focusing on your positions. For example if you have a 69 QB but every other position is good you might have a 86 overall Vice versa if you have an elite 87 QB but every other postion is average you might have a 81 overall. But when simming much like real life what matters is where your best players play. You have a 77 QB with not good awareness that you lean on, the sim engine is going to focus on him and not the 80's RB you dont use that drives your offensive rating up. Kansas State for example has a great QB and thus the sim engine always favors them. #3 when recruiting sort by "any state" and target anybody that has (0) scholarship offers. You can then scout and full send those guys and land MULTIPLE 4 stars with ease. I used 1-star hawaii and landed the 31st class in the nation doing this strat. #4 in the offseason DO NOT focus on the portal over recruiting. Basically any portal guy that is a 3-star will have the same overall as a 4-star recruit or 3-star gem. They made it to where portal guys dont develop the year you get them so they just miss a chunk of Devolpment and it makes the guys in the 70s kind of pointless. #5 I am not saying go back to running the ball all the time either. I strongly suggest switching to the "Power Spread" offensive playbook and i would look at your defensive depth chart, make sure you have your submissive LB and your Slot Corner set properly and adjust your defensive playbook by 2 things, first the fact that you want to air it out means other teams will likely pass more in return so a 3-3-5 might be ideal or a 3-4 if you like your linebackers, second base it off where you are strongest if you have 2 good DLmen run a 4-3, same with LB and 3-4 and DBs with the 4-2-5 Personally i like the 4-2-5 because you need speed and coverage guys on the field BUT admittedly while simming your defensive scheme does not matter as much as your offensive. With love fam sorry i cant be in stream helping lol

The seniors wont be back and the absolute best way to improve freshman is to play them.

I love that they’ve been feeding you the entire cryptogram all game long. All the signs had a translation into the crypto. Should have most of the letters if you knew you’d need.
Awareness is insanely important in sim (esp. for QBs!). 76 AWR is alright but definitely not great for a starting QB in an Air Raid system. You should definitely switch back to a system that asks less from big Sam, at least for this season as hes a freshman. After the off season training hits then build your system around him, as he'll probably already be amazing by next year
Just wanna say, Stanz, your mods are the worst. :) Hypocritical trigger happy douches that cut your viewers by literal half for no reason. I saw so many commenters permabanned for literal nothing.
Love the video. Don’t have any advice on simming because I play my games. For recruiting, the pitches are more useful than anything else. You want to figure out a recruit’s 3 important factors asap and then run soft or hard sell on those. There’s always one perfect sell that hits all 3 of their key points and a dealbreaker will always be one of them. A lot of the time you can intuit the last one if you have 2 or one and the dealbreaker. Also sway is really useful if they don’t have good factors for your school. If you hit 2 factors and not a 3rd, run sway with those two and an X that your school is good at.
The end of the last Elden Ring vod was muted/corrupt audio, so this is a non muted reupload of that section. Final 2 Elden ring parts coming out over the next 2 days!
air raid fits sam leavitt better but almost the whole rest of your team worse. Your best offensive weapon should still be your RB talent-wise and I believe your offensive line is a lot better at run blocking and especially if the weather is bad, your team just struggles too hard to put together enough plays imo. I think a playbook that still has a lot of running plays but just less option plays where the QB has the option to keep would suit your team well, your WRs need to be a lot faster and quicker to make the air raid work honestly. just my opinion though.
Also, I'm not a hundred percent sure but it might be especially a problem that your scheme (that you can't change midseason) clashes with your playbook because the players are basically being trained all week for attributes that they don't use come gameday. I think your team looked a lot better before you changed your playbooks but it could also just be variance.
I really enjoy the recruiting aspect and roster building of these streams/videos. Watching/playing/only calling plays in the game is all fine by me, honestly I wouldn’t mind if you *intentionally* simmed past non important games throughout the year.
In previous games, granted they were 10+ years ago, record mattered a lot in terms of how teams played. I remember a lot of bad schools going on runs to finish top 15 and schools that had like 88 rated teams starting 2-3 and finishing 7-5 but in Madden that team would get at least 11 wins 90% of the time. I wonder if this year its ore of consecutive wins/losses matter
The AI is smarter as a whole. So if you are Watching the game you would rather watch the smart AI vs smart AI instead of a lil slow ai vs a lil slow ai
Sorry about the audio issue! I’ll try and upload the second half of this vod (with audio) tomorrow as a separate upload. Gotta hear stanz mald at radahn
I’m so glad this game is back. Madden became super boring. This still has fun aspects to it, and they kept it true to what fans wanted to see after the last game
not sure if stanz will see this but a gem doesn't mean they're like a diamond in the rough but instead it means they're 1 star higher in recruiting value than shown, so if they're a 3 star gem they should be a 4 star but are ranked as a 3 star making it easier to get them if you're a worse program
