I believe that the RE product development team has considered overall practicality when designing the panniers. They have likely considered the size and shape of the panniers to ensure they align with the handlebars, accommodate the positioning of the pillion’s legs, and complement the bike’s ride handling and rear design.
Thanks for the video. You just confirmed what I suspected. Useless set of panniers. Low space, flawed design and impractical. But again, some people like to buy things that look good and are otherwise useless...19K worth of junk! No insult intended on you. Just telling RE to try and get some sense into products they are adding for their flagship bike. It would have been more sensible to see a touring single rider seat than this...🙏🏻🇮🇳
Not taking any offence. Glad it clarified your doubts and hope you make a better purchase decision. RE should focus on their quality of products, service and availability as well. Also I would like to emphasise that, what makes sense/ looks junk to me or you may not make sense for others. Some riders do modifications / install accessories for looks, some for performance and some for practicality . This panniers are definitely not a sensible choice for someone who needs luggage space ( which is basically what panniers should do actually 😂).
