Honestly if it works just going 40 each time, kind of worth it. Just being able to have a mag that can hold over 30 without spending $500+ is nice.

The capacity reduces with those pod arms followers only down side is a 30 round mag becomes 25 round mag, a 45 round mag becomes a 40 round mag, I bought few commercial Bulgarian 74 mags, and few pod arms followers, and a few a.c. unity 5.56 mags and a 20 round 5.56 Wbp mag for my 5.56 AK I ordered, I just ordered 250 round range bucket of Remington 5.56 ammo.

@@m.7n6using 3d printed followers I can use tula plum ak74 mags loaded to 30, Bulgy circle ten ak74 45 round mag , most times will run 45 rounds flawless but for sure will run 40 , vids on my channel ! Fck pod arms! I got my followers 3d print s for 2.50 a piece and they work better ! Crazy right !

Irrelevant to the test, this won't deform the follower. Clearly they weren't designed for the mags, I just wanted to test how they would work.

​@TheJoeyoso 545 mags have more curvature than 556 , these followers fix the feed angle for 30 round mags but the extended length of 40+ causes the round to feed at the wrong angle when the mag is full and the length/curve affecting the longer stack more.

Next investment is PVS-14 and some dual IR laser/illuminator, probably LAM 3G or Perst 3 , so there is a purpose. This will eventually be night only gun.
