Hi Aggie4life, yes they're only 10 minutes away from each other, but cost of a house is the BIG difference. You'll get more bang for your buck in Plano, but it will likely be an older home. Are you considering moving to the area?

@@LivinginDFFW I used to live here and still visit here periodically. Just before Covid-19 crisis, in gym I met and told a younger college graduate, who worked at a Bay area accounting firm and would like to buy a house and knew that it is impossible in bay area, about Frisco. After one month, his cousin from New York visited here and decided to move to here. Later on, he found out his company has a branch in Collin county and he volunteerily to come to here periodically. He also has 2 brothers - one worked here in different company and the other was in the last year of college. They went to gym individually at different time. After Covid-19, I no longer see any one of them. The other person told me that he moved to Texas! Frisco tx ISD is very attracting to oriental people who wants their kids going to excellent high schools and go to Harvard, Stanford, Yale and other privilege universities. Also, Frisco high schools are constantly improving in national ranking ( such as US News ranking). So, in Bay area, the condos cost near "star "high schools are, at least, $200,000 higher than "Single family home" cost in "good" high school towns! ( Not even need to mention about medium good high schools!)
