I have a lot of regret, and when I hear this song, I just reminds me there was a time where I was young and I didn’t need help but now things are different. I wish I could just wake up.
This movie came out the year my son was born. I'm 50 years old now and I've watched it countless times and I cry every time. This song will be played at my memorial service with pictures of me with the absolute love of my life. If you friend have seen this movie and it's changed you like it has me, we share that. It is ours, embrace it.
Vanilla Sky & A.I. changed me. I have a hard time watching them again because it hit hard me so personally. I absolutely loved those movies. a work of art
It was actually really sad to think that pseudo-date with Sofia ended up being last she ever saw him. She probably gave him a chance to see if they could recreate the chemistry they once had, but his changed personality and yes, his looks, proved too difficult a hurdle to overcome. Noone can really blame her since however much magic they have between them, they had only met each other twice and their relationship was essentially cut short by horrific events.
The soundtrack of this film was phenomenal, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Bob Dylan, Nancy Wilson, everything. Pure existential crisis in a melancholy love story.
Многие говорят что песня грустная, но у меня она вызывает чувство спокойствия. Сравнимо с ощущением когда просыпаешься после кошмара... А ещё сильное чувство ностальгии
"My dreams are a cruel joke. They taunt me. Even in my dreams I'm an idiot... who knows he's about to wake up to reality. If I could only avoid sleep. But I can't. I try to tell myself what to dream. I try to dream that I am flying. Something free. It never works..''
I love and hate this movie, such a brilliant concept. I feel very depressed once the movie is finished. I Dont think its healthy for me to watch, But its on tv now as i type and needed to find this song.
There's just some late Sept/October feel to this. Like Indian summer feel. Reflecting the good times of the past...I keep getting back to this piece of soundtrack...
@@JBrooksNYS yea. When it was released I remember a lot of people/critics were being overly harsh on it. I think the country was in a completely different mindset back in 2002. But now you see this movie being talked about by many random people saying it's one of their favorite movies. Probably has something to do with Cruise's resurgence as of late.
