Well. Anthony Saba. Thank you for creating such beautiful and emotional music. This song, from the first time I heard it, it spoke to me. And words began flowing. The image allowed me to try and imagine the girl stepping out onto a stage for the first time in a while. After going through some dark days in her life. SHE WAS BACK!! I tried to capture that with images in words. I hope you enjoy reading, "All The World's A Stage". “All The World’s A Stage” As she stepped onto the stage The sparks flying in the air around her, were like fireflies Glowing all around She smiled and embraced them And this moment Under aurora skies As clouds rolled by The moon shining bright She looked out onto the crowd There were so many of them As far as her eyes could see To keep her from stage fright She imagined them all being tall buildings With lighted windows, shining city lights She knew this day would come She had been waiting for this, her whole life She was like a phoenix rising up, out of the flames And into a glorious night She stepped out of the darkness and into the spotlight A standing ovation broke the silence, as they saw her A warm breeze touched her cheek Her blonde hair slightly lifted off her shoulders She was like the wind Moving effortlessly She remembered for a moment, her old life Where she had come from, where she had been But that was over now And it was time to begin anew She smiled, because she knew she was born for this Those dark days were over And it was finally time for her to live again So, without further a due She rolled the guitar around that rested on her back And began to play, she started singing The crowd knew, immediately what song it was… And they started singing with her It was a golden moment She would never forget this time She had finally made it back Her dream had come true As she sung, she looked all around Humbled to know, that they loved her As she finished the first song The crowd stood, clapping endlessly They were chanting her name Welcoming her again For she had been gone a while Screaming and shouting for more She knew that this was what they came for And she was about to honor them And give them the show of a lifetime With happy tears, streaming down Before beginning the next song She thought these words…all the world’s a stage And she was on it, she was living it The big time had arrived and it was all hers to celebrate And she would… She was made for this And the world was about to know her name…again As she began the next song She smiled… And carried on playing… All through the night It was…. I think what you wrote is extraordinary. I think girl is the thing we all need to be. Never stop dreaming, you must always have the strength to move forward. Everything you wrote are images that become real. Thanks for sharing, I really appreciate it. 😊
This is absolutely incredible. What the hell I’m glad I stumbled across this. Thank you very much. I don’t know how you created this but it’s majestic.
This version of the song really makes it more of a desperate plea for help that turns into a dark hero theme, would go well with the journey of a Chosen One stuck in their world after their adventures and wanting to go back to the place they saved, suffering mentally at the loss and abandonment of the ones they saved. Perhaps they finally return but their mind is twisted, morals entirely gone, only seeking the ones who tossed them away when they were done, destroying any who stand in their way, leaving ruin and chaos in their wake. When they finally get revenge, they blink and, as though waking from a horrible dream, see how they've destroyed their home, the land they'd once saved, almost losing their life.*at midpoint, they mourn and rebuild, slowly taking over the lands they once loved, leaving few alive and becoming an obsessed tyrant.* One day, they look up from their throne, centuries-old eyes jaded and cold alighting on a small figure holding a sword at their side, trembling and drenched in blood. They are obviously not from here, and the old one remembers the mutterings of those against their training and existence in this realm, rumours of cycles and how "this hero will be just like the last" And "they claim them to be pure and mold them into a soldier, it'll be a wonder if this one does not go mad". And they blink, and realize just how old they are, how heavy the crown atop their head is, and just how utterly exhausted they are, still watching the latest in this thousand year old cycle, an eternal dance between anguish and euphoria, being torn from home twice, of this cycle they are now aware of. As they thought, the new Chosen One approaches before kneeling before them. They spread their arms wide, chest exposed and welcoming death, before a quavering voice calls to them. "Do not make me finish this game, I just want to stay here where I belong. Use me as your tool, kill me if you wish, but do not tear me away from this home." The crowned figure begins to smile, reaching a hand out to the one so young. "I will wake you from the Lies and train you. Together, lets make the world anew."
Gods above and below, I love how the image and song match, the astronaut staring down and into a pulsing void of energy, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of miles to explore and discover new things in! The small banjo twangs among the more woodwindy and brass sections really grounds and gives me the image of a home, a place where grandparents and their grandkids run around and watch the sunset and dragonflies, telling stories of how they got here and how the land had changed, but the sky would always make them cry remembering the view. Basically the nostalgia of finding the home you never thought you would find or have the chance to step foot on. Brings a good smile on my face, as if my bones are weary but perfectly at peace. Amazing work Neverland!
