We're the Langley's, a homesteading family of 6 living in SC follow us along on our journey of building our dream homestead from scratch on 14 acres of raw land.
@JenniferAllmendingerNDhouse We've got eagles down the road but so far I haven't seen them but I'm sure in time they'll come. We're definitely gonna have to get a dog but we're just not ready for one yet.
@dianamcbride4305 We just took some honey mustard marinade and let the chicken marinade for a while, added some salt, pepper, and paprika and threw them on the blackstone. The Brussel sprouts just have a bit of salt, pepper, and oil on them. It's so good!
@ninfadoyle1450 Thank you for sharing, it's not always easy to share the hard times but I want to be open and honest with our channel. Hopefully next season we'll have more than we know what to do with ... but I'll be ecstatic if it's enough for a full meal for our family.
I’m sorry you didn’t get any potatoes. I’ve been using the Ruth Stout method for 4 years. Growing potatoes in straw. Might be something worth looking up. 😊 This has been my best year for growing potatoes.
I ended up having to use pliers when I ran out of the twist wire. That tool was pretty cheap, I think it was 7 or 8 bucks. It was my first time doing anything with foundation or rebar.
