Would be interested to know why you are culturing paddlefish. Is it strictly for research, or are their aquaculture and population restoration applications as well? I understand how difficult it must be to effectively feed a filter-feeding species like this. My only critique is you need to find different background music!! Cheers!
Interesting - I do love the paddle fish. From an oldtimer half pro aquarist though, give that "food mush" a rinse through a mesh before you put it in the tank. A lot of it will be just "nitrogen water", and will stress your filters without any benefit to the fish what so ever. Mix it up the way you do, then just let it go through a mesh and then just put the mix in the water. Then you get rid of a lot of "nitrogen filled water". The fish still get the food but the water does not get so foul.
