As a physician, I’d highly recommend against a chiropractor. The amount of horrible stories we have to deal with from chiropractor(y) is vast. Saw many with dissections in the arteries supplying the brain from neck manipulations
I feel exactly the same as Taryn about my boobs. My partner once just like held their weight for me, and the utter relief for my back, neck and chest was incredible. I dont want to feel weighed down by them anymore, but I'm nowhere near ready to have kids yet. 😢
I rly appreciate this convo and especially relate to the getting ready thing. I ask my wife to just leave the room while I explore my wardrobe and find what makes me feel confident and pretty. The awkward trying stuff on that doesn’t feel good at the moment is painful to do in front of her, for me!

I don’t know of any historical context of selling limbs unless it’s something to do with anatomy studies in morgues or what ever, but selling limbs is certainly a subject in Cyberpunk stories, settings where people replace healthy limbs for robotic arms for fashion or to climb the business ladder, and Cyberpunk settings are normally a writer’s warning/fear of what could become the norm.
Taryn and Cam, just my two cents- if reduction is something you know you want sooner rather than later Taryn, then I highly recommend Cam's 2nd trimester as the best time. I've had two kids and I think most would agree the 2nd trimester is when you feel your best (no longer nauseous/exhausted but not yet big/uncomfy). It'll likely feel hard for both of you to go through it while Cam's pregnant, but from my personal pregnancy and parenting experience, it'll likely be much harder to go through it during the baby/toddler phases. Hypopressive excercises are amazing for pelvic health and belly recovery. You can do it 1-2 months after the birth of your baby. After full recovery you add squats for HEALTH. you are already beautiful and perfect

I'd also say negative self talk like " my life is so difficult and unpleasent and bad " and pointing out every bad or unpleasent thing that happens to you is pretty harmful for kids. Unfortunarely my mom would say just anything that comes to mind. She was "sincere". When does the complaining end? Words are overrated sometimes. Taking real action is huge for yourself and others. We have to stop doing what out crazy minds say about ourselves

i feel like sometimes it isn't for the other person but shows you aren't in the right relationship when you are able to feel so strongly for another person? like even if you arent sure it will work with the other person, that isn't always the point. i think their other partners deserve to be with people who are so sure about being with them and love them fully. -c

You guys don’t realize how much this episode is significant. I’m literally depressed at the moment and seeing you navigate it together has helped me a lot. This is a really bad year for me. I graduated a year ago and I’m struggling to land a job. I don’t have any money or source of income. My college friendships have faded and I’m completely alone and on my own. No relationships or prospects in sight for me at all. My expectations of who I am as a person has all crumbled in front of me. I am not doing as well in life as I should be in many aspects. So, I really relate to what Tayrn has shared and hope things go for the best for both of us. I always thought you guys were always happy -I know it’s wrong- because in my mind you’re living the dream. This episode put things back into more realistic prospective for me. It’s so so hard Tar, I’m also scared to be a parent. Me and my partner are discussing and the future - we sometimes struggle to look after ourselves so we’re anxious about looking after a human baby. But our dog gets gold star treatment regardless or our mental space, so we’ll be absolutely fine, but it’s hard not to panic😂 Also you can’t be the perfect parent or human or partner all the time, sometimes it’s going to take more, and some days our 100% is different to our normal 100%, and that’s okay❤ I struggle a lot with these kinds of thoughts and I need more grounding but it’s tough! Thank you for sharing!
