I put small black skateboard wheels on to replace the plastic lean rollers! The plastic scraping on the corners drove me crazy so the skateboard wheels takes the sound away!!
Totally have pics and can send videos! The wheels are not as light as the plastic stock ones but they don’t throw off the balance at all! Not sure how to send them to you? Haven’t ever made a RU-vid video before.
I subscribed to your channel, looks like you have a Yamaha in your profile pic! Do you have instagram? You can send pics there, my insta account is the same name, JB_RC_Garage. U should try uploading some videos to youtube, its not too hard. Just use your phone for the video and upload from there.
Crap these center diff ones did not last long that s a joke i bought 4x2 granite used put 2400kv arrma combo into it fully tighten slipper Rwd only an no problem s yet now gonna fit mt8 wheels on it :) look forwards to that
No, the Kraton has a flat chassis and doesn't collect much sand. Blowing it out with an air compressor and wd40 takes care of it. The salt water & wet sand is much worse than the dry sand. Thanks for watching and the question!
Good question, i think it depends on what you want from the truck. The center diff handles better, its easier to control. The slipper clutch pulls wheelies better, and puts more power to all four wheels if set up tight. Both are good, but I'd go for the diff unless you're really into stunts, then go slipper. Thanks for the question!
@i4nic256 I don't think I'd spend the money for the v2.5 since you already have 2 of the v2's. Maybe consider replacing the slipper with the diff setup,on just one truck to compare them. The rest of the car is basically the same. You can probably find the diff and case on Jenny RC.
@@RC_Car_Guy I'll wait for Jennys to stock the diffs again and give it a try. Thanks brother. Love the beach jumping videos, wish I had a dune like near me. Cheers
The main difference is the newer one has a center diff, not a slipper clutch. Arrma didn't change the name or Version #. It is still V2 from arrma, but if it has a center differential, I am calling it V2.5

Yes the Kraton is king of basher's. I have 4 which includes the first year 8S Kraton. But man , driving in sand. They sell mesh covers to cover all your components. Get some paddle tires too.
Thanks for commenting & watching! The sand isn't too bad,I've been driving RC's at the beach for 4 years. I maily worry about the salty sand and water. The Arrma's seem to rid themselves of sand pretty easily because of the flat chassis i think. When we take traxxas xrt & xmaxx, we got more sand caught in everything though.. I've got proline dumont paddles in the rear, theg work great! I appreciate you taking the time to comment, thank you!
Hell yea brother I got one of the new exb 6s kraton on my channel an have m2c a lot of things on it I have zero issues with it.. anyway dope video my guy
The short wheelbase must have a big effect. My kraton and fireteam have no issues. This is the first I've done like this in 3 years of sand jumping. I recently geared up slightly, I thought it would help calm the wheelies down, but it didnt really make much difference. I had ran those tall tires previously with lower gearing,no problems, so maybr its a combo issue with gearing as well?
