Don't be slick and carry a large Maglite as a defense weapon. Only use the tools issued or authorized by your agency. I've sat in the hotseat in federal court twice as a defendant. Sticking with my departmental-issued Taser, asp, and pepper spray prevented lots of problems. "Self-help" may backfire and indicate you don't follow department protocol. These guys do not get enough recognition for what they do. Every time these officers put that uniform on, they are taking a risk. But they do it. The job that i do is dangerous as well. This is a sad reality of what this world has become. They do it for the same reasons i do. We want to make things better.
This is Amazing, im 14 and ive been training with firearms my whole life, and i know when i can and cant shoot someone if necessary. I know all the laws of self defense in my state. Im so excited to turn 21 and join my local Police Department. Keep posting these videos ❤

Wow with “epic music” and all, forces me into plot twist mode, nothing ever goes as planned, you red flagged the would be shooter and took his guns! So no worries right? Well he 3d printed a bunch of guns but they all shattered in first 5 mins of the shooting! so as a backup shooter locks himself in a classroom with 20 others, with 40lbs of ammonal and few dozen gutter nails/rebar strapped to his chest, initiated by a large HMTD cap and resistive wire hooked up to a battery with an in line mercury dead man switch. Now take all your training and that shitty music and kindly flush that shit down the toilet. And focus energy on spreading kindness instead of chucking innocent people under the bus in the name of safety, and wasting time and resources training for fantasy scenarios that NEVER go as planned. 🖕🏼
This is just showing the two different way of entering a room. Ideally, 2 or more officers would be clearing a room, and the partner would be covering the area not covered by the person in this video.
