I like it. I like the pad and the little punctuations kind of break it up in a very gentle way. So many times people get too heavy-handed with the punctuation or they'll start throwing piano in which I hate
I think the only versions I have are with me playing everything or Rodney on drums. There was a version where we all tried our hand at doing the vocals. If I still have it it's on an old 4-track tape. I'm going to get an old Tascam soon so I can go through all the 4-track tapes.
Thanks. I tended to play behind the beat a bit back then. A couple years later I learned how to push things forward better by playing just ahead of the beat (which is what was needed on this). Here I tended to follow the other guys too much, which caused me to hesitate and lag a little. Lack of confidence, I guess. Joe and Kirk were only 17, I think. Vinny was a little older, early 20s. Not bad for a bunch of (mostly) high school kids. Thanks for checking it out.
I think it was the Bounce output triggering the Turing Machine and the X, Y, and Velocity outputs for some subtle modulation of the SWN. Thanks for checking it out.
Yeah, it's a great combination. I've used that pairing a lot. I've done some that are a bit punchier than this ('White Sands' and 'Incursion', probably others but I've lost track) through hitting the LPG harder with the envelopes (and hitting it with two envelopes where I only used one on this patch). But the Furthrrrr is quite versatile. I've had one for almost five years and I still use it a lot and I'm always finding new sounds with it. Anyway, thanks for checking out my stuff and have fun!
