Awesome performances & close racing on that 1/8th mile from some great pro teams & drivers. FIA Top Fuel in the UK/Europe/Scandinavia has unfortunately degenerated into more-or-less an exhibition class due to rising costs and struggling economies. We run our blown methanol altered on our local recently re-opened 1/8th track (slightly ironically Melbourne, England) but we don't get any fuelers going there (yet).
I think that now are way more than 11000 hp....this Power level was measured from A.Brown tf dragster back in 2015.... Now considering current exit speeds and e.t numbers....i think more 12-14k hp.

go to tailem bend you can be basically next to them when they takeoff for a few extra dollars if you dont wanna spend extra you can still be within 15m from takeoff
The twin magnetos supplying the 16 spark plugs are like an arc welder in power, so to still drowned a spark with fuel is impressive. Apparently on full throttle the engine uses nitro quicker than if you turned a bucket of water upside down
Iam so glad I watched this. My dad used to take me to Calder as a kid and see these two racing. Also a fellow Bendigonian Robin Kirby. Great times indeed.
Damn i feel old after watching this. I remember at one Nationals at Calder Park everyone was was in a queue to get Rochelle's signature. My mate just walked straight up to her dropped his pants and said can you sign my jocks for me. Rochelle burst out laughing and told him to bend over. I wasn't sure if she was going to sign them or shove the pen up his arse. She signed.😂
