Billie did such an amazing job as St. Jimmy. He got to play the character that he invented! His performance never comes off as cringey, he actually comes off so cool! he looks so good! Seriously, he really does have an angel face while also being an awesome punk rocker. This is a good look for him.
That play was 100% trash! Hated every second of the 10 minutes that I sat through before leaving! I’ve been to literally hundreds of plays and concerts so I’m not that good never walked out on any of them finding merit somehow somewhere. This one ,, nope! 100% crap! Extremely poor production quality the sound was disgusting! Couldn’t hear a word with anybody was saying through all the yelling, then all anybody did was flail around and jump on the stage and yell and holler! “Yah blah nah maw snaw , meef meeff American Idiot! Nearly a decade later and I still feel completely ripped off by those bastards! I don’t understand how anybody like that production I really don’t get it
Saw this during one of BJA's stints as Jimmy, and his is improbably charismatic onstage. Incredibly magnetic, you absolutely cannot take your eyes off of him.
