I believe in Dewey's "learning by doing" as a key way to educate yourself about the world. A lot of that has to do with thinking about both the natural and engineering aspects of everything -- and how it all works. This channel started out with a lot of outdoors living and learning videos, but has since become sort of a place to share interesting tidbits about things I see in the world, and some ideas about how to make it better. Some of it is maker stuff, nature, sustainable living, life in the past, and technology we should all be prepared for, in the future. Pretty much any old random stuff I hope in some way can help others.
I have worked in many areas of STEM, and I've come to appreciate learning about many different areas. I enjoy exploring the past, to the far reaches of the world, and thinking about the future. Explore with me!
Thanks for watching my channel & please subscribe!
Thanks, I did not know if works for the newer trucks, this procedure its used in old pick up,i have my outel im508 and to do the procedure it needs 2 key.
That's something good pointers kve never really had issues but that helps ive had a friend of mines riders running in 20 degree temps and wind chills in the teens and even single digits i would just jump on if I had to jump start em i would and charge the battery and turn the key it wouldn't start right away but i would eventually get em started
I am looking to see exactly how that belt keeper you take loose is actually mounted. It is at 51 sec that I see it, but it is too dark to see up into the space. Thanks for any help you can give. Tammy
Still having trouble? Positive you bought the right belt, but it seems like it's impossible to get it on?? then Jack up the rear if your belt seems too impossibly short to reach the final pully wheel.. bump it a bit on both sides and wait for the deck to slide forward towards the front tires.. Then Presto! ^_^ You will be able to get the belt on your older/ well used decks!
You have to make the opposite shape on the other ring.. when the two rings have opposite shapes, then the cut will be perfect even if you only use one rotating shaft
I am in desperate need of information that online ai ebay and other are absolutely no help. First i know there are many variables but i need sone place to start. I need a gearbox to hook up to a small shredder designed for a hand crank. I want to hook up either a bema 34 stepper or servo of which i have each. I also have a 2 hp “1500kw” servo. Lathe and mill to adapt motor to gearbox but i just have no idea what gearbox i need. Saw a video that was using to planetary and stepper but no info on gearbox. I need a model ir something to start looking at. I can get scooter gearboxes snd other i just beed some idea. How much torque do i need for shredding 3d prints
Watching the northern lights in iowa today :) 05/11/24 at 3:00am. WAY the fuck out in the boonies. Just me and the woods and my car. Looking at the lights. When a fox does this from like, what sounds like 10 feet away. Actually almost cried. Thanks for calming me down.
You should look into the Gausian splatting work. It's way more detailed, atm there's no way to build geometry from it, but there's nothing stopping you from using multiple techniques.
Yea. Had this happen. Never happened before but I must have needed to torque the blade nuts better. I ended up just ordering the hub assembly to start out with new parts.
if ur battery dies between summer and fall then you need a new battery. if you want them to last past their warranty you should get a battery tender. but this is a pretty common method with kickstart bikes. just going a little past top dead center and giving it a kick. works well
thanks a lot for this idea, i got some very sturdy metal plates i'll be using for similar design, was a big problem finding anything affordable i can make that can shred PAHT-CF printings.
I have a craftsman t1200 the belt keeps jumping off can’t figure out what the problem is sometimes it will allow me to mow awhile before jumping off but I have to mow with the deck lever on 3 if I try to mow on anything lower will pop off or if I raise or lower deck it will come off any ideas what problem could be
Be carful you should always check the reason why the oil Level is low before adding oil . Possibly oil leaking problem that should be fixed to avoid engine damage
