Genya isn't the only swordsman who uses firearms on the battle, there's also another swordsman character who using a revolver made by Smith & Wesson, his name is Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki and he appeared in the anime titled Katsugeki Touken Ranbu, another anime made by Ufotable based on the original game Touken Ranbu Online in Japan Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki is a human manifestation of a katana that wielded by Sakamoto Ryoma and Ryoma is a samurai who took down the Tokugawa Shogunate, he is voice acted Hama Kento in Japanese while his English VA is Ben Diskin in Katsugeki Touken Ranbu and Jason Liebrecht in Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru
I love that it's heavily implied in Jujutsu that the only reason certain individuals aren't as strong as they should be, is because they don't think they're strong. We can see this here with Megumi, thinking he can never be as strong as Gojo and like Gojo said, Megumi we'll go for the safe play like he did in that baseball game. And we can also see this with Jogo, sure we know he's strong, and at first he knows this, but after his first encounter with Gojo, he's shooked. To the point he won't even dare to open his domain vs Sukuna in his first encounter with him. 80% of Jujutsu is about about being born with powerful techniques, but it's also a mindset too. It's another reason why Gojo and Sukuna is soo overwhelming.
Honestly one of the best’’rage’’ moments in anime. It’s absolutely justified and isn’t an instant win or giant power boost for no reason. It really is Yuji just REALLY wanting Mahito dead
This makes no sense, first the bullet is right at her face next scene her face is far away from it and her hand is up and gliding through the air like it’s swatting a fly because a bullet would hit her before she can even do that 🤦♂️
As much as I fucking hate Mahito, I have to admit his VA killed it here and in pretty much any other scene he's in. I actually prefer the dub over sub when it comes to jjk due to the talented actors. Don't get me wrong, sub is amazing too and I watch sub first mostly because it comes out before the episodes are dubbed but there's just something about dub that I really like. Yes, even Toji's VA.
