Glad to see you back Adele. Agree with what you're saying about the albums and page protectors getting too expensive and hard to find! I'm finding working in a smaller journal (5x7") is so much more acheivable and I'm not needing to use as many supplies. I've been using the smaller journal since January this year and I'm still keeping up to date. I'm still mourning the loss of Pinkfresh's scrapbooking line... but on the flip side, I'm saving so much money on supplies!
OMG it's so nice to see a video from you! Seems like it's been forever. I can totally relate to the sinus issues and having kiddos that need to go to therapies. I have two boys that are autistic. But I'm glad to see that you're still at scrapbooking. I have actually gotten into junk journaling lately and it's so much fun because it puts my love of history and scrapbooking together. I have found some really cool vintage items and I have so much fun collecting the things. Plus where I live there's not really a scrapbooking store physically near us so I have to get everything online. Thanks for sharing your videos

I've always wanted to make my own journals and I have been making monthly journals since February! I like watching your muckabout videos. I used to project life scrapbook until they stopped making supplies. I've been "memory planning " in Happy Planners for the past 4 years. But I do Jan-Jun in one and Jul-Dec in a second and they still get chunky. A junk journal/scrapbook hybrid sounds super interesting! Have you worked in your Dec Daily (2023) anymore?
Yep sorting out the spicys can be very time consuming. It's a lot to deal with. Glad you took the time you needed. Beautiful layout. I have gone to documenting more monthly in a travellers notebook so I'm planning on simplifying my albums. Life has changed a lot and I have adult kids and little grandchildren so life looks quite different too. I would like to go 9x12 size after I use the last 12x12 album I have tucked away.

OMG...don't get me started on We R Memory Keepers albums! I've had a couple of the leather ones start to peel 😵🫣😖 After paying the $60 per album, (I'm in Aus too), it makes me a little 😡 I even keep them in a dedicated shelving unit. So not like they're getting knocked around or anything either 😭

Hi luv!! I hate to say it but, the allergies prolly from kitty 😢 I need to get back on patreon but I'm afraid I'll never catch up. It's been a year or so... I'm glad you're talking about changing things up, I finished project life 2023 and I'm done... I don't want to do it that way anymore. I use small 8x8 or 6x8 sizes and I love the process but I'm always on myself to "finish up" "hurry up" "I'm so behind" and... I really miss scrapbook pages... I might do events in a pl style but I'm also thinking I wanna make them on travelers notebooks or junk journal pages. I scrapbook in 8x8, 8.5x11 and 12x12. I would love to make mini albums but I don't have the display space for them. I'm so happy to see your videos again,(the hubs heard the into music and said "you ur watching that crafty chick again?"😊) but don't feel stressed about not being able to post, take care of the things you need to! Prioritize life and family. This is just art to make you feel happy. ✨️
Welcome back! I have so missed your videos. Just today I found a 12x12 Becky Higgins album at the thrift store! ✨⭐️ It even had some pocket pages in it. It’s a little worn on the outside from someone storing it, but the inside is clean and the pocket pages are brand new. I was so thrilled to find it (though my dad was confused at my excitement, haha!). My local craft store isn’t really carrying any scrapbooking things anymore, so I have to buy it all online and it’s so expensive to have it shipped to where I live in Alaska!
While we always miss your videos when you're gone, and are thrilled to have you back, I do LOVE that you put your family and your mental health first! So important and an inspiration to me as a new mom :) My 1.5-year-old has a speech delay and we're looking into getting him speech therapy which I hope will be helpful, and fun for him!
Welcome back. I now store my layouts in the 13x13 plastic containers from Kmart (you can get them elsewhere but Kmart only about $7). You could thread some ribbon thru the holes in the page protectors so you can look at them like a book. I also have started a book, based on your Jamie Journal. Painted the pages, and sticking photos on a page and decorating it with a bit of page or embellies, keeping it quite flat. Was worried about photos on both pages sticking, so do one photo per double page and journal about photo or you could write an appropriate quote on the other page. I love it because it is a random mish mash of my boys throughout the years. Can't wait to see what you decide to do and how.
As someone who's neurospicy, I'm so so glad you're doing what you can to support you kids and their mental health stuff! It's hard for a lot of kids to grow up with that kinda thing and it sounds like you guys as parents are trying to be the best support system you can be! Your kids are really fortunate in that regard :)

The price of shipping from the US is also so pricey, I’ve only been shopping when there’s massive sales and buying a years worth of supplies in one go. I’m currently 12 years behind but I have at least 5 working scrapbooks, so it’s challenging. I have 3 kids and I also do a “brothers” album of them that I will eventually keep for myself; they will take their each album when they move out, and I have an album for my husband and I. I also have vacation albums. I often feel that I will NEVER catch up but here’s to all of you on my same boat. Just keep scrapping… 🐟

Nutella! I think it’s NASTY! And idk why. I like chocolate, I like hazelnuts, I have no texture issue with it. (Texture issues are the reason I hate mushrooms and boba, another really well-loved food) I also hate coffee, matcha, soda/carbonated drinks, apple juice, wine, flavored waters….
