so I asked google what 171 meters per second was into feet per second and it gave me 561.024 feet per second. That's pretty low. I've seen other youtuber's chronograph the Arrow and were getting 730-760ish fps with 14.3 grain pellets. I'm assuming your Gamo Arrow is restricted to lower fps because your in the UK? Sorry I'm just going by your accent, I'm not sure where you're located

Just tested the Accura and it runs great on air arms diablo fields im also thinking of letting the myth go in about a fortnight i was running the myth on RWS Super fields

I love my Gamo Arrow, only thing it broke on me after 4 months of use. I only got it back from repair since I waited more than a year to send it to Gamo, since they told me I'd have to pay for shipping costs. Anyway doing research, many other users complained about the same thing happening to their Arrow, which was it wouldn't discharge air because the valve firing pin would break and fail. I read someone saying it was a common problem and that Gamo was aware of the defect and seems to have fixed later batches. I bought mine at the end of 2022, but I don't know. Please let us know if you have such a failure on your unit. Mine's happened suddenly, just one day out of nowhere I tried to fire it and it wouldn't release any air. I'm hoping the repair holds and doesn't break again, I'd really like to purchase the "classic" version which has more power and a wooden stock.
Yes mine broke twice in the end i gave it back in and exchanged to another gun however mine was a different fault which was power fluctuation anywhere from 8.2 ft/lbs to 9.9ft/lbs making the pellets go anywhere apparently this gun now is distributed by Edgar Brothers as BSA/GAMO want nothing to do with it. And you can see why it certainly as issues up to this day
@rcontour aw no! So you won't post any follow up videos on the Arrow? BTW 8-9 fpe sounds very low. I don't have a chrony, but other youtubers average 16-18 fpe. With my testing I would compare penetration shooting 2×4 wood with the Gamo Arrow compared to my Gamo Whisper Swarm, and the Arrow seems to have a little edge in penetration
@@theFormidable1 Its in the up and coming battle league but it never wins a game as its so erratic and that was even with the replacement gun which was the same so i just returned it i wouldnt be happy selling it someone
@rcontour ok I'll look out for that upload. I was looking at the Beeman 1336. Gamo Arrow is my first PCP, and don't know much about Beeman 1336 but just seen a comparison and I like the 900 fps it's putting out in 22
I think you’re being a bit harsh scoring on the duck hunt lol. The magnets are crap. I’ve had a Remington one now for about 8 years and was getting the same problems even at 25 metres so i bought a long thin magnet strip and attached it, ever since I’ve never had a problem with them sticking down. It’s easily removable too for hammering the ducks flat and an easy refix. Just a tip from old geezer. Great vids nevertheless 👍🏼
You can tell you spend a lot of time with the xocet. I’ve just listed my 2004 Webley and Scott XS .22 on guntrader as I’ve had a total refurb of my rifle collection. Kind of hoping it doesn’t sell now. I’ve also got my AirArms S300 .22 1999 model up to. Loving these battle leagues. 👍🏼
Had the stoeger xm1 and have the Walther Rotex rm8 uc I found the stoeger xm1 to be unbelievably accurate using H&N excite econ ll and rws superdome using the included scope I just preferred the rm8 over the xm1
I have the rotex rm8 uc with an hawke quick mount scope using a range of pellets bisley premieres job exact heavy Diablosand rs diablos being pretty damn accurate being able to empty a full magazine virtually in the same hole…also like ur drone videos of our local area you reckon drone videos will return to the channel
BSA/Gamo 10 shot mags on Amazon under 25 squid , they're unpackaged as returns to JSRamsbottoms. Both .177 and .22. It's the metal cylinder as opposed to plastic and work perfectly in my gx-250
I did do a pistol review quite a while back but to keep the channel running after a review the guns go up for sale so i can bring a new one in and pistols are hard to move along. All the guns you mentioned there ive recently sold after review but i had to put the second mag with the gamo.
Hello, as a beginner in the air rifle world (all rifles I looked into in .177), the Gx250 was on my shopping list, along with the Remington T-rex, none bullpup. I ended up purchasing the Lyra (not had a chance to shoot it long range yet), the influences being, that walnut stock, the Olympic cocking rod...you can turn it down, therefore great for short distance/indoor use/inviting all the family, and light weight back stops, and it came with 2 magazines. And I think the 2 magazines was a big factor over the Gamo (in price point, pretty much the same vs accuracy in noob territory), Gamo Mags being far too expensive for some reason. Like you said, pop an extra mag' in there, it could make positive difference in sales, I may have had the Gamo gx250 instead. It's great to see how you get through the pellet trials with these guns, and although some can be difficult finding the balance, that you can show that there's something for everyone. Ever thought of adding pistols to your review lists too? Great for those with small back yards.
The problems with the RM8 are the magazines the star pattern in the centre is soft and wears out quickly and results in non loads and the weight. I own the .177 and firing QYS heavies gives plus or minus 1mm from aim point at 30m over 100 shots. I would have liked to see the picatinny rail for the bipod further forward by 4 inch for better stability
Before you start I've got a Phox 177 and it's super accurate. The GX250 is the same gun just longer air cylinder basically. Go for BSA GOLDSTARS pellets in it
Mine came a bit rough, had to polish the action tube and hammer. However in Spain, where I live they're even cheaper, i paid £235. After a bit of fettling with the action and tuning the trigger its a great gun. I absolutely love the low weight, with a lpvo sight you can get a sub 3kg setup that excellent. Mines in .25 but we have 24 joules to play with over here
On the washer ring final round. The first two shots from the Kral , you rested on the barrel, third shot you used normal resting position and hit the centre. Have a quick watch back and you’ll spot it straight away. Great videos 👍🏼
You had a double load on the LES first shot too Rob. If you look at the top left target , one pellet hit the 7 or 8 and the other was a zero. Loving these battle leagues btw 👍🏼
I have been using accupells in my .22 maxi and have found them to be extremely accurate , I stuck with using them as I had half a dozen tins in the cupboard , I would consistently be shooting 14mm groups at 30 metres but felt the gun was more than capable of slightly better groups , I have now switched to using jsb 15.89 exact jumbo with a head size of 5.52 , these will shoot tighter groups than the accupells every time , I would love to see you re due the test using the proper magazine as I suspect by the fliers you got in testing would be from pellet damage caused by the incorrect pellet wheel in the magazine , most kral owners find the jsb or air arms pellets to be best suited to there barrels, obviously aa fields are made by jsb and both use the same lead and antimony mix
