Journals--making them and using them--are a passion of mine. I create my junk journals in my attic studio using mainly remnants, retro, and repurposed papers, fabrics, and notions I've scored from thrift stores. Most of my pages are hand-dyed with tea, coffee, or other goodies from my kitchen and garden. (Berries from my blueberry patch created my favorite color so far.) Do you keep a journal? I do. That's why I include lots of writing space in mine. To journal is to journey through life with our eyes, ears, and hearts open. I live in the lovely Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. Some of my pages include local nature pictures I've taken. My favorite artist is God. His artwork is evident throughout the valley I live in. I started this second channel to share my junk journals since they were starting to take over my other channel. (My other one is @WendyLMacdonald where I share inspirational videos and nature pictures.) Blessings ~ Wendy Mac
Just beautiful! I love all the roses. I was writing in my journal I got from you last night. I still, after all this time, enjoy looking at all the wonderful pages and little pockets. ❤
This journal is beautiful, and the cover cross stitch is exquisite. I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit with your grandson. Time with our little ones is precious.
Thank you so much. My grandson loved the journal I made for him. And he talked me into making a dog one for him. 🐾💙 We're working on it together. 🥰 Blessings on your evening.
This is super precious ❤. My daughter and I just enjoyed it so much, and we were charmed by your kitty 😺. Thank you so much for sharing. New subscriber 😊
Your grandson is going to love his journal. I made a Koala journal for our 7yr old granddaughter. Its so cute to watch her craft in it & collect "treasures" to put in her junk journal. We also made a Garden theme journal for her mother for mothers day this year, together. It was great fun watching her pick out the various papers, fabric & ephemera to go in the journal. I also let her "sew" in the signatures ( with close supervision). It was a fun project that we both enjoyed.
Your granddaughter is blessed to have a grandma like you who takes the time to work alongside her. You both will treasure these memories forever. Thank you for sharing this. ❤❤❤
Aww what a beautiful gift for your grandson. I just did a flip through of a dog one for my daughter too (she is 20) so she can record things for her new dog. Your grandson will love this journal xx
New sub! Love this journal. I can see you have many others I will want to view. I rang the bell, so I should be notified now! Glad to have a new talented crafty friend! 💖
I had been wanting to make something for our 3 grandsons (11, 11, and 9) so I did so today to hopefully and prayerfully encourage them as they get older. I had purchased each a book, The Focused Life, a book of Psalm and Proverbs. I made each a pocket/pouch to keep notes in, coupons to give to others for small things such as taking the garbage out, help clean, etc, No money involved to spend or cost.
