“Doesn’t accelerate the way other trucks in the field…” - totally disagree. It accelerates better than the GMC 6.7 and will cross the finish line first (TFLnow). I’m a 2017 Titan XD SV driver. Absolutely loving this truck. Wife and I did a 600- mile round-trip to Big Sur in one day, and neither of us felt any discomfort that one would expect from long drives. Hard to grasp why Titans were so overlooked.
You Americans have a problem with everything that is a minor impediment in life. knobs and buttons are a problem for you, apparently. learning how to use this panel takes only a few moments
You really can't say it too much, the car is absolutely phenomenal. Even when idling or slowly taking off, the V8 rumble is extremely satisfying. Yes it makes you work for the power, but that's exactly what I wanted. The chassis and balance is another level. It's essentially the perfect car.
I loved this car...lots o' little things broke was annoying ...Door locks.. window motor ..signal shifter .. but was fun to drive . but not from a stop she bucked like a rodeo bull, but once moving she was smooth and perky... had this color too , very pretty..
I own a 2014 X5 5.0i with the M Package etc. It's got a few more options than this one has such as surround camera and the premium sound system. I'm the 2nd owner, but the car has been rock solid for the past 5 years. I've only had to replace a high pressure fuel pump to the tune of $1300.00, however the rest has been regularly scheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance. I live in Colorado so the first order of business was to get a good set of all season tires on this car. With all season tires it handles snow like it's nothing, I'd argue this is one of the best handling vehicles in the snow, especially compared to my Wife's Nissan Armada and the variety of pickup trucks I pass when the roads are snow packed.
This is a beautiful and powerful truck. I do love the graphics on this beast. I'm 63 and kinda like the the slightly juvenile look. It's very pretty and turns many heads. I've had 3 PWs 2012, 14 , and the 16. This is so far my favorite.
Do you happen to know the dimensions of the trunk? That's pretty hard to find. For example, what's the height between the floor of the drunk (excluding the little dip there) and the roof in the corners there? Just wondering how thick of a bag would fit in there before renting one of these things. 😅
I don't find the turbo lag or the cupholders to be a problem. I love the car. I'm getting Lexion Apple CarPlay/Android Auto installed with a 10 inch screen June 11. Navigation is ok after I take the time to put in an address, but being able to have Google Maps on the screen will be wonderful, which is constantly updated as well, of course, plus Spotify, radio station apps, easily make phone calls and send texts with Siri.
