-ABOUT- Murray: Working on cars has been my passion since I graduated college in 2007. YUP! I've been working on cars since 2007 to present day!
Great video, I am up for the same task on my 14 GL450 this weekend. After chain change, is there any play when turning the shafts by hand? I do have noticeable play, and when I go in and out of grear, there is screehort screeching sound. No jump yet.
My compressor is leaking oil. I tried to stop it but was impossible, still working well. I'm planning to replace it, so I bought a brand new already. Do you think I need to replace the filter dryer?
@@MurraysMobileMechanic-wp8yd Replace the filter dryer? The car has only 76700 K miles. The system is working more than perfect, just the compressor leaking oil. Everybody tell me if the compressor has not failed doesn't need to replace it. If it's cooling nicely meaning expansion valve and condenser is working fine, plus the car has very low miles.
Pliers are cheap and safer than screw drivers to remove those springs, very danger at 8:35. also, eyes protection is a must, your Eyes has more value that all the money you will make your entire life. I will give you thumb up, because this video is very good. -- It would be very nice to see you join all again, even if it takes you 30 minutes more, but is ok.
Do not point with your finger, use a tool pick or a toothbrush to point so we can see. your finger is in the middle and we cannot see well. Also, your voice is too low in all your videos.
@@MurraysMobileMechanic-wp8yd Would love to see a video on that if you can. My girlfriend has the same vehicle and seems to be leaking cvt when parked at an incline. Haven't lifted the car up to see where leak is coming from simply because I don't have the tools. I was just thinking while I go at it in the future I must as well change the filter.
If you know your transmission is good in level, you just need to do drain/refill, so you don't have to warm the car at all. Just do your drain/refill and that's it. Also, if you are down there you can do everything from down there, no need to do nothing under hood. Fill it through the level plug. just jack up a little more the front of the car and the fluid will get inside completely. You need a little fluid pump sell it at Amazon.
The place where you put and maybe lift up the rear is not for that. I can do it on my Elantra 2008 but Kia soul 2012 is different and it hurt that metal.
