At Poppy DIY Crafts we do arts and crafts for teens to adults. Currently we are focusing on creative ways to use UV resin and epoxy resin in crafts.
Due to the nature of the products, some tools and techniques used in these projects, the content of this channel is Not for children under 13 years old.
If you are between 14 and 17 years old, I highly recommend the supervision of an adult.
I had the thought of finding some aqua beads, making some designs, and then setting them in resin (either to use as charms or just to protect them over time), so I’m glad it’s something that’s been done before in a similar way! Do you still have these, and if so, how have they held up over time? Did lingering moisture affect the curing process in any way, or have the beads done something weird like shrink/separate from each other or the resin?
Hello, thanks for the video! Is the casting totally rigid like a solid block of plastic? Or does it have some give? I saw a guy using polyurethane resin for a helmet casting, and it was fairly flexible. But he used some smooth-on stuff that is real expensive lol
Yay! Thanks for another Awesome Video, Luv both of Ur Channels. They both help me when I'm stressed out and need something to calm me down and focus. Thank U So Much. Hope U are doing Well🤘💙 P.S. Thank U for putting the links to what U are using in the description. Much Appreciated 🤘💙
Thank you! I wonder how long it would have taken to be fully solid? Maybe a couple more hours? I read that you should wait a few days to send epoxy resin. Is that correct? I’ve been using a lot of UV and I’m just now starting epoxy.
This video was ULTRA helpful for this noob right here. I hadn't even considered just using a couple of drops of all my alcohol inks to QUICKLY change your epoxy (base color anyway). Using powder for the sparkle is totally the way to go though. So now I have all colors of epoxy base ready to go at a moments notice. THANKS!
I love those molds. They are really cute. I have those mica powders and it says to add just a little bit of resin to the powder until mixed thoroughly because they do clump. I noticed you had problems with the mica not dissolving. I had the same problem yet I only put a small amount of resin in the cup. However I love the bold colours.
