Nowadays [ March 2024] if you have to pay $275 for a JV 880, then BUY IT! It's sound quality will be remembered long after the price is forgotten.

I wonder if those other two solder pads by the PLG socket + cable, can have sockets installed and then maybe flash the firmware EPROM chip with the MU128 BIOS? Might not work but interesting thought to have a cheap upgrade.

i really wanna know, what's disk format of dps12, i used the bluescsi, it works, but i cant read the image in the computer, so i must burn a cd then used the official tool (called what, i forget, but i know how to found it in google) to get the wav files, but i dont have a scsi cd burner, so i need to read the image file on the computer...please tell me...

For a 4 operator FM-synth, it has a lot of components. Later FM-synths could do it all on one chip.

Amigo me ajuda a conseguir o kit de membranas e régua pra recuperar meu Roland U20😢😢 eu consegui descarregar os presets de fábrica , e inda inclui o que vc me mandou aquela Patches a mais .... porém a membrana do meu teclado tá danificada demais ...Devido a cola que escorreu devido o tal epóxi vermelho e também algum técnico mexeu nas trilhas da membrana .. me ajude onde comprar o tal kit pra reativar os teclados 😊

I have one!! AND it's was my first experience with arrangaments, entertainment, creation, Mixdown AND a final Super-sound!! GREAT Machine!!

I have a Roland U-220, it's still usable even today. But unfortunately the value down button on it doesn't work. Replacing the switches looks straight forward, I might considering it in the future or possibly getting another fully working U-220 and keep the other U-220 as a spare.
