In 2023 we retired early to travel abroad in winters and live in our van in summers in Canada. We exchanged our corporate jobs, family home and most of our worldly possessions to commence a life of travel and adventure. We decided to document our journey to show you different corners of the globe through our lens, giving our travel tips, food reviews, expense breakdowns and sharing our overall experiences. In the Canadian summers, we will bring you highlights of our beautiful country and share our travels and real life experiences of living full-time in our converted van.
If you are curious about early retirement, slow travel, new cultures and cuisine, van life and a nomadic, minimalist lifestyle, then we hope you will consider subscribing to our channel and following our adventures. So off we go - armed with a positive mindset, our bare necessities, some camera and tech gear, and a sense of humour, we hope to entertain, teach and inspire you through our channel. CHEERS!! 🥂

EXCEPTION : According to Resolution 128/NQ-CP, effective from August 15, 2023, Vietnam officially grants a 45-day visa exemption from the date of entry, regardless of passport type or entry purpose, to citizens of 13 countries: South Korea, Japan, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Belarus."

Hi Mitch and Jan, your guidance and instruction is very thorough. I will be going to Vietnam on Nov. 3rd, and I have a question for you. In the eVisa App, there's a question about have you entered Vietnam before using other passport? Yes I did long time ago but can't remember the expired Passport Number. So how do I answer that question? I've since got a new passport issued in 2017. My second question is how did you take your own ID Photo and how did you attach it to the app? My third question is can you put 90 days for the intended days for the visit but the ticket is showing about 30 days from the date of entry to the date of departure? Please advise, thanks.

Halifax, my hometown. I may have mentioned in a previous comment somewhere that our family moved from Nova Scotia in 1954 to Niagara Falls, Ontario. I’ve lived here ever since. I have returned on numerous occasions, and, as I rack my brain, I think the last time I was there was 2009. It’s been a while. I see a lot of familiar places that you visited and there are also a lot of changes that I am not familiar with. I’ll have to get back soon before I’m not able to. Hopefully, I can bring my grandson with me.

Recently discovered your channel. I really enjoy watching your travels. I plan to start from the beginning and watch all of your videos. The only slightly negative comment I have is regarding your audio. Is it possible to use individual microphones so the audio is at a constant level? Other than that I enjoy your humour and cinematography plus all the very useful information you provide us. Keep up the good work!

Another great one my friends Yeah impact wrench a must for those tires lol. We used a lot of line trucks at the company I use to work for and it's important to check the air pressure regularly on inside and outside tires, because when the weight ends up on one tire it's hard on the tire, the bearings even the axels we've had the outside tire come off the vehicles. Now I got you totally freaked out lol, just a heads up quick check occasionally on the tires , just Hitting the tire slightly with a hammer will tell its low on air. Great tour of Halifax thanks for taking us along. Hope you have an awesome weekend

Being originally from the Maritimes, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Our family moved to Ontario in 1954 when I was four years old and we have lived here ever since. I have returned to the Maritime provinces on numerous occasions over the years to visit, family, and just to explore, but I have never been to Newfoundland. Your videos are just an absolute treat to watch. They whet my appetite more than ever to make a trip to Newfoundland before I get too old that I can’t. What about leaving Vietnam and re-entering within the 90 days? Does one need a new visa for that?

Please advise ^^ Thanks in advance
@mitchandjan
@mitchandjan 24 дня назад
Hello! And thank you for your feedback and questions!! 1. Port of entry is not a problem. It’s your “intended” port of entry on the application, but we understand that you can enter at any port with an approved visa. 2. This one depends - if your entry date on Visa is AFTER the date you plan to arrive, that would be a problem. However if you will enter Vietnam AFTER the date shown on your visa, you are ok. We are not experts and can only advise based on our experience and the helpful comments of other viewers. But we hope this helps!!! Thank you so much for watching! You will love Danang!! Lots of old information here. Date of entry and exit no longer critical, you can enter anytime AFTER the entry date as long as you EXIT on or before the end date. Although they ask port of entry and exit you can enter through any port now. The day of submission of your application is not Day 1, it’s day 0. For example if you submit bốn a Saturday and Monday is a VN holiday, Tuesday is your day of submission and Day0. Wednesday Day 1 Thursday Day 2 etc etc
