I bought a recurve that looks exactly like yours from an Asian online shop. No brand. I have a 40# Bob Lee I got in 1982 that I put away 25 yrs ago because of work-related international travel. When I decided to shoot again last year I found out I was struggling to pull 40#. I thought about ordering lighter limbs from Bob Lee but it would cost a small fortune so I went the cheap route and ordered the 30# Black Hunter copy. I just reshaped the grip to my preference and I love it. I suspect the manufacturer just rebrands it depending on the regional market. Happy to say I have no regrets and like you said, we can always order different limbs at a bargain. This changes my perspective on ready made bows. Thanks!
I have the black hunter longbow and it's a dream to shoot 52 lbs at my 29 inch draw. Black Eagle outlaw arrows 350 spine full length 200 grain up front..I took a buck with it two seasons ago!!!!
I have this bow 45lb and it's a shooter but mine shoots best with the brace height at 8 inches and that stops a lot of arm slap. I'm shooting 400 spine arrows with 100 grain inserts and 150 tips . I took a big doe with it this fall with 160 grain Zwickey
Question: I have the same bow and tuning arrows now. With the 100 inserts and 150 head how long are your arrows? Im full length and debating on cutting
For years I did the foam target shooting (spent a lot of money and time loosing/looking for arrows) now I strictly do what your doing, I like to go where litter bugs have been and shoot bottles, cans, you name it. All my arrows are equiped with lighted nocks and judos.
Get a cheap pool noodle and cut the end of it off the size of a donut and thread a string through it and then tie it to a tree branch then put a arrow through the centre hole while it sways back and forth..I dare ya. Good luck buddy cheers for the video. Kind regards from Australia 🇦🇺
Got the same bow also 40lb, shoots really well. Agree with your comments on the string, no vibration with mine. Really good bow, highly recommend it. Just got to work on my shooting more.
Very good review brother. I don't have one but have a Lwano 45lb recurve that is very similar to it and I love that bow. I hope it lasts ya a lifetime, God bless ya!
