ngl it sounds really bad, im just not a fan of clacky like that, and it looks kinda ugly too until you look at the bottom plate, but that's the part that just sits on your desk, you never see that. ill stick with the zoom75, looks clean, sounds like heaven.
LOL I got it off the TikTok shop a while ago, I’d search up mountain cigarette holder if you’d want one! (Imma be honest I didn’t realize it was a cigarette holder until I read the packaging🫠)
i think the sound test is a bit muted on pooters which could be because his mic stand broke. could refer to captains sound test if you want another example to how it could sound irl on his instagram or even my scuffed sound test haha
I was going to also do my own config but I realized that the config I already had was soldered and there was no extra plate so I couldn’t do another sound test LOL
NGL, it sounds a little thin to me, but I can hear that signature Cherry scratch which is oddly satisfying. The design of the keyboard is STUNNING, though. Any themed keyboard should aim for this level of detail.
@@FlashBombGod lol its okay. for my future projects im trying to lower the cost, but at the same time, this also means the level of detail will also need to be toned down a bit.
Hey bud! I just suscribed after seeing a couple of your videos and love the effort you put into them. I actually turned the bell on for you and dont think I have dont that for any other creator though I’ve been around RU-vid for over a decade. Quick question for you at @2:32 you show a Thocky and Clacky scale. The way you have it written makes me think that you see these as two seperate scales vs being on the same scale but at opposite ends. I have always thought of it as a scale from high pitched sound (clack) to low pitched sound (thock) but, I think you may be using these terms differently and I’d like to understand your perspective. Thanks in advance!
Hands down the best video of a keyboard I have EVER watched. you deserve a raise or double what you charge to make the videos. Top tier #1 keyboard content creator hands down
no flex or gasket performance will kill this board even though it has interesting aesthetics. also a 60% is a pretty niche market. if they make a 65 or a tkl they could take off though.
Definitely agree but I will say tho the gaskets are changeable so I guess there's a little wiggle room for changing how bouncy it gets. They are also planning on making another board like this where it's a larger layout too. With the ideas that the community suggests I think they're going to incorporate as much stuff as they can
Enjoyed the cinematography of this video! I love the wide range of options they've given their customers for the Protagonist. I just wish it wasn't so costly imo. It doesn't set itself apart enough to warrant the starting price of $350. The keyframe is super cool just not worth all that extra $$$, but on a better note you def have a new sub!
Totally fair man you're entitled to your opinion. Just for me personally it's a pass. The biggest issue I have is while you can customize it a ton. They leave very few options that don't add to the overall price. There are like 3 options per selection that don't increase cost, and the options that do add to the price are adding $30-50 a pop.
Its true that the starting price is a bit high! BUT when comparing the configurators between the protag and a mode board for example the extra options still end up around the same price between both. But again its totally understandable lol. Plus the components for the protag are much larger than the accents for mode boards so i do understand the price difference between the two.
I love the bottom design, but the wide top is a minus to me. The price is fair since I have one with the same price point. Not sure about the quality. The sound, which I found another video about the sound, not so standout.
It's definitely a bit more comfortable for your arm position but it takes some time to get used to it depending on how you type since you might type certain keys with different hands
