“Subtle” acting is not a style of acting-soft and quiet and meek. A subtle performance is an approach and requires that a complex goal or idea or character trait must be communicated simply and without explicitly stating the intention. A good example: Christoph Waltz as Hans Landa. Hans Lands is not soft or meek or quiet, in fact, he is actually quite charming and jolly and bubbly, but that’s all to disguise his true intentions: to expose the man for hiding of Jews, and to then killing the Jews. What makes the performance subtle is that through all of Landa’s friendliness, we get “the feeling” that he knows they are there and always did. How do we get that “feeling?” From Waltz truly SUBTLE acting performance. The looks he gives, his movement across the floor, the questions he asks and how he asks them-seemingly rhetorical. Truly SUBTLE. John Cazale, here, is not communicating a subtext-which is required to be subtle. He is just talking softly and reservedly. That’s not necessarily subtle acting.
John Cazale & Daniel day Lewis are my 2 favorite actors John was such a brilliant actor, it’s bitter sweet he was only in a handful of movies, if he was in more though I think more people would know of his incredible screen presence
I am sure he realized that has he was dying. He got to watch as the love of his life Meryl took care of him. I am sure he regrated it, the could have had a life together.
Jack & Mark were friends of mine since our days on The Strip circa 1985. They were so much more than an even a Great band back then. Their musical legacy speaks for itself, so no need for me to interject. However, this cover really shows Jack's incredible prowess as a classic rock vocalist. The stuff most people have never heard is their flawless Zeppelin tribute recordings. Just. Frikin. Amazing. And Jack... He used to be the class clown - the funniest, coolest guy in the room at all times. The Station fire broke him in so many ways that I know he has not and will not ever recover from. My deepest sympathies and condolences to all who were affected by this horrific tragedy. R.I.P. Jack 😢

Os Heróis do Mar foram uma banda muito portuguesa e muito patriota, algo que infelizmente, não se vê muito hoje em dia. O próprio nome diz tudo... Ainda há quem se envergonhe do nosso passado. Devemos é ter orgulho, e principalmente, respeitar a nossa história, pois, o que somos hoje, é também, devido ao passado, a todo o percurso da nossa história, tão rica! Voltem, Heróis do Mar!!!
