@@mikeydesilva8197 Will do. I'll order some bullsheet just so I can say hi. Lol Thanks for uploading stuff like this. You're truly talented bro. Will let you know how it goes. Will upload a small video. If I don't,.we'll you know it turned into a sheet show lololol
Nice!! Turned out great!! I never repaired a container roof like that before. Just swing door replacements and side patches/sections on those types....
Finally! A video that shows what's going on on the other side of the rivet. Every video about riveting trailers and box trucks shows a guy with an air hammer on the outside but never mentions what's happening on the inside. Is there a special tool? Is there another guy? They never say. Thank you for showing the whole process and not just assuming everyone is familiar with it.
Cool video. It's actually helping me figure out how to model a trailer in Blender. I have dimension values and material names for things in spec sheets...but where they go and what they sorta look like when places...no clue. This helped a lot...even if not really the intended viewer. Great job!
Winter projects for summer time I like. Coming to your channel I see a lot of vid I haven’t seen. Not sure how that happened. Haha came in to tell you I’ll be showing my cousin how to skin a roof like you showed me.I’m stoked !😊
I own a Jet Ski Shop in San Antonio, Texas. I've been working on Jet Ski's since 1985. One tip. When torquing down the head bolts be sure to torque them cold to spec then after starting the engine to warm it up, re-tighten the head bolts once more, while hot, to take up any slack created by heat expansion. This is especially relevant when working on the 440 or 550 motors since half of the head bolts screw into the engine case and stretch quite a bit when hot.
Mikey, how do you splice/join a top rail? I have to replace 10 foot it’s damaged. I’m thinking butting them up then putting a 1.5 foot piece on top of them like a sandwich then buck riveting it?
Are you using a newer stretcher? I think I’ve figured out a way to install coil onto rv roofs that have TPO pool liner crap. The rv I had before had a solid skin n never leaked. The sun made it buckle up though.Good to see yah behind the camera again bud !
