I enjoy the flows of different teachers to move in new ways and experience new combinations of muscle engagement. This was really refreshing for the shoulders and legs. Thank you.
Perfect! I'm so happy you liked it! The challenge is still FREE in the Yoga Flow Queen app and right now you get 1 month FREE if you sign up - no strings attached! Hope to connect more! 💕
Hi Coach Yogi Emilie ma'am! Is this also for men? I am a man and tried this lesson with my mother-in-law but it was brutal! I could only manage to last about 9 minutes in the lesson when my entire body just failed and my MIL told me to go and rest. My MIL did full 35 minutes super soldier yoga powerfully like you! Her entire body is shredded rock hard muscles, she have unbeatable strength and endless endurance! I feel really low and very defeated 😔
Hey there! First of all - great work trying out this class! That shows good spirit and ambition! And don't feel low and defeated, this is an intermediate class, and it's absolutely natural that it was a bit too much for you. Your MIL sounds like she's been doing this for some time and it's probably a perfect class for her, but a bit too much if you're a beginner. This practice is absolutely for men too, I just market toward women, but have a lot of men in my membership and classes. But start out with something simpler, like my Beginner vinyasa class ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EZN85Yfg_ZE.html and I also have a lot of shorter classes, 15-25 minute that are good to start with, like this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8YeTUEkjpNY.html I hope this helps and that you give it another go! What you did now was almost like running a marathon without any preparation 🥰 And say hello to your mother in law from me, she sounds like a badass 🤩
@yogalioness Thank you for your guidance, Coach Yogi Emilie ma'am! This is really, really hard training for me! I am a man and work as a personal assistant to my MIL's work-from-home business. Every morning, she does the powerful 60-80 minutes of super soldier. She told me it is good for me to join her even if I can only last 10 minutes until exhaustion. I will try the lesson you told and set goals like you told!! My MIL also told me to see how powerful strong yoga is and told me to do boxing to her abs when she is in the pyramid, warriors, goddess, and super soldier poses. I did the boxing, but she didn't even even move from those poses, but my hands started to hurt 😟Is this also good exercise for me to do boxing? I want to be a bit confident with some self-esteem in front of my MIL 😔
You don’t have to move your hands while falling out, most people just twist to the side and cartwheel out. I can still push off one hand and move it around while my weight is on the other. But again, this tip is for people who want to do crow to handstand, it’s not a beginner move, you need to be able to handstand first of course. Using the strap a great way to get the movement right and learn how to activate the right muscles.
Thank you for teaching such creative classes! I also really like that you move us in and out of positions for a few reps - helps to build strength as well as mobility. You're great. Om shanti!
