I post videos of train routes in the NYC metropolitan area. I don't have a set schedule for uploading videos. Sometimes, I post videos once a week. Other times, I may go a few weeks without posting videos. I have a life outside of RU-vid (work, meeting women, exercising).
I make videos because I'm a railfan. These videos are available for your viewing pleasure free of charge. There is no Patreon on my channel. I welcome feedback, constructive criticism, and requests (within reason).
I try to make my videos as interesting as possible. If a train is operating slow or is in a tunnel where you can’t see anything then I’ll edit that out. There are also a few other things that I edit out of my videos (people using the n-word, disorderly conduct, babies crying, people coughing). I want the viewing experience to be pleasant.
The Greenport Scoot isn’t electrified. The M9 can’t go there. I did make a Greenport Scoot video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jlgJJIz1pn4.html
@@johncrest-r6nThere are four cities in the US that are larger by the proper limits. Nine by metro area. Out of all of the American metropolitan areas that are larger than Toronto, only the busiest station of one has more ridership. (NYC)
I had to be discreet when I was making this video. I made sure that the Port Authority cops didn’t see me. That’s why part of the World Trade Center station is not in the video,
I actually did the full ride. I split my videos up since three one hour videos with different rolling stock and different perspectives is more interesting than one three hour video. When I get a chance, I’ll post the links to my Harlem line videos.
I get recomendations all the time on RU-vid for videos about the "new" R211 train. I absolutely do not understand the endless joy about it. Do you understand that this is the technology of the previous century? Such trains ran in the Moscow subway in the early 90s! Look at how modern metro trains look like in Moscow and think about it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l58oZmsEpdo.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HTHkThEfl5Y.html
This was taken a few months ago. I didn’t want to post four R211 videos in a row so I posted some other videos before posting this. This is my last R211 video (for now):
Unless one is using a 360 camera, it is safe to assume that the YT viewer is not endowed with the peripheral vision afforded to the OP - as such, the LGA SBS info screens, though interesting in themselves, would have benefitted from their own separate video \m/
I get what you’re saying. I showed the screen because in my videos, I like to show the interior of the train or bus. I want the viewer to feel like they’re riding the vehicle. I’ll incorporate your suggestion into future videos.
