I am currently too busy to upload every day but I will do my best to increase the number of uploads in the future!
Hope you like what you see! I'm very active on twitch @
www.twitch.tv/gesia
(Older Videos are still with an Intro saying "twitch.tv/gesia2" but this has changed since the name became available)
We're still somewhat trying to figure out the place of the RU-vid Channel in the grand scheme of thing, but it will most likely try to focus on strategy and story Experiences!
My Rig right now (April 2017): Intel 7700K GTX 1070GTX+ 16GB Ram 500GB SSD 3TB Internal HD (Recording) 3TB External HD (Backup)
Nice commentary. I'm not sure you have estates right. Estates give your ruler additional influence and influence increases loyalty (other than the less influential one) and decreases usurper allegiance once it crosses 10 in most mods. Losing an estate means losing all its food so only a very large kingdom with small armies can afford to avoid the estateslowmodier. The modifer can also be modded down to -1. I would say focus on politics instead.
Hi there! The Video is quite old and on release build, im pretty sure they majorly redid the estates at some point because they figured out it was rather pointless, so this point is no longer accurate
@@gesia8751 This is a great review. Vanilla hasn't changed since 2019. I think most new players will find this helpful. Most of the modding community has removed the stupid things that make the strategy game unnatural. I think most returning players try the mods.
Thanks for the upload. I didn't bother so much with cameras in Blissful sleep, it's more about talking and helping the right people, and feeding the kitty of course!
There already is. Medieval Kingdoms 1212 AD. It’s a mod for Attila, which is what Thrones of Britannia is based on. Try it, it’s amazing and they’re constantly improving it and adding things to it.
@@richardpowell1772 The 1212 mod has a lousy map and can't match this one even if Attila has many better features. We will work with what they give us. TOB is still amazing and has been modded along the lines of 1212 if you find the latest mods.
@@richardpowell1772i think what he meant was a medieval total war game where your armies are raised like they are in ToB, I think ToB has the best army engine, where you can levy a set amount of troops at one time and they amass men over time, but you have to be careful to manage food. What i love about thrones is that even in late game youre having armies with 5-10 units fighting on the field because food handicaps numbers. Other total war games always end up being massive 20 unit slog fests that get boring after a while
A little late for a comment - maybe for late viewers and late players ( like me) ;-) - not making the same mistake. I like your LP, but why on earth are you constantly ignoring probably the most important subject to build - the cooking pot ? ( there was a comment a few episodes earlier already). No wonder, the people don`t get on their feet and develop sickness, eating raw fish and meat all the time. And you miss out on XP - Solveig and Bloedeuwedd are both quite good at it.
Haha yeah, well now looking back, that would have been a smart move. But the LP was blind (at the time i believe the only one) so I just went with what made sense to me. :D
@@gesia8751 Thank you for still answering :-) I made my mistakes too, of course (especially the skill development is quite tricky), but it is a wonderful game and it makes you eager to play it again sometime with lesser mistakes, different camp helpers maybe and of course the wonderful doggie :-)
About the history you mentioned,....Churchill tricked Germany into attacking the cities of England rather than the airbases, by attacking the cities of Germany to stop the British air bases from being attacked, saving the British planes to help win the war until the American forces would be forced to help by Truman's tricks of the United States to let Japan bomb the U.S. so they would get involved, which they had not wanted to. Germany didn't decided to not take London or England they were just out smarted; 1 of 3 fatal mistakes Hitler made along with the Russian assault in winter and the not following through when the Allied troops were rescued by boats when he stopped from attacking them giving them enough time to get away. Thank you for the review though.
If you want to know the rules for the game you can just read D&D 5E Player's handbook this game is not based on D&D, it is D&D 5e in a video game at least read the wizard section so you know how Gale works
Haha really?! well that explains a lot. Seriously i always thought as a healer and and elf and her dialect, she was a good girl, but she then kept disagreeing with ever "benevolent" action i take :D
@@gesia8751 It pays to have nerds on hand. Shar is the goddess of darkness and controls the shadow weave (the weave is the ever present source of magic that locks out evil mages if they get too powerful) who recently convinced another god to kill the goddess of magic (a neutral good mortal raised to godhood during the time of troubles that the first game is based on) so magic is still recovering in the world (I'm sure dead magic and wild magic zones will come up a bit).
Recorded a few episodes and am now at a crossroad: the next episodes are extremely talky (once we get into town there are 3 (!!!) episodes of me just talking to people, which doesnt mean a whole lot. Would you prefer the ultra-talky bits cut to the most interesting conversations or want to see it all?
The team starting to get a shape Also, it’s hard to figure out what line you chose without you saying it directly, maybe put the crosser on the line you want to choose for a second before clicking
True, need to redo my Team once were a bit in. (actually am already on episode 4 or so and the team ist starting to take shape in my head. unfortunately i wont be able to do exactly what i want but stilll....
Yes it appears that way. I actually finished the game now (as far as it goes right now, the game isnt finished) but the files got corruped. Am considering replaying it but i think ill wait till theres a bit more to play, cause right now its just like 3 hours or so till its won.
Wojtek was real. He was adopted by polish soldiers and, in order to get free food to feed him, the bear was enlisted into polish armed force and was even promoted to corporal. During one battle he even helped artillery crew by carrying shells for them. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-twr38iHXYVw.html
@@cannavega9770 Can't remember specifics but it's basically the divide et impera for ToB, except for the longevity/slowness. It improves a lot of mechanics, and even adds some new ones. The visuals are super detailed now, much more realistic and diverse visuals/clothes and armor for each individual unit. It feels like a real army of mercia or etcetera. Tbf, I am also a huge early-medieval nerd so that helps.
Shieldwall is almost non-playable in 2023. There are some mods that address some of the broken features, but stay away from it until they fix all the balance and bug issues. It is extremely painful, even more so than DEI. I hear the modders gave up on the aggressive overhaul due to technical issues. There has only been on light patch in 2022 and 2021 had an update that never was fully balanced into the game.
Just subbed, about to check out some of your other videos! All the best and good luck with growing your channel. Do you know about SMZeus . c o m??? I think it would really help you grow your channel!!
I like the content man! It's fun to watch, but as someone who is watching to see if I want to buy the game, it would be cool to get a play through where you explain more of the mechanics, show off some of the cards, show more settlement management options, and use more of the resources like cows and sheep. perhaps explain the merchant and how trade works? also, where do you see the terrain benefits breakdown and such?just some ideas man! thanks for the entertainment either way :)
really glad you enjoyed it! Have you seen the first Part? I actually go over all the aspects in that video (briefly,,,) if you want me to make a full on tutorial that wouldnt be a problem either though
There seems to be an episode missing... you ended your last one on Day 73 and this one starts at 76. Quite sad, as it was the one where you found out about Grim's daughter. Would have loved to see your reaction. This playthrough is rather old, so it's likely gone. Still thanks for the lets play, I enjoyed it.
I know this series is over but here are some Misconseptions. Kim Jang On’s nuke is bigger than the bomber explosion it just doesn’t shoot more bullets out, and due to the bigger explosion it also does way more damage. Jock’s jump at people you were just never paying enough attention to them, to notice. The blobber shoots out go every time it gets hit and blows up like the bomber. (More health= more goo)
So if you desire to be an Auto Resolve Hero, you'd want a couple of 'Killer' Units obviously to do some damage, but OVERALL you want two main things (aside from that 1 or 2 Units that will do your murdering). 1. A LOT of Units. So you have more units to spread the damage around. 2. High HP Units, ESPECIALLY if these are your 'Killers'.
