Thanks for this video! My grandmother was born here, and my other grandmother is from Pori. I am always searching for videos about both cities. I have a question, do grocery store’s charge a fee for their bags? We get charged 10 cents a bag, I noticed you used your own bag. Also, when you left the lady in front of you, swiped a card scanner, why?
since they used a self service checkout, after youre done paying the printed out receipt has a barcode to open the gate with, basically just thief deterrent

Sorry for late reply, @Carole A ! Yes, as @Jopezo mentioned, you need to scan your receipt to leave self service checkout. And yes, plastic bags in shops aren't free, that's why we always carry our own eco-bags. Thanks for watching!
Very nice video. I was there May 28,2022 - June 7. So was very nice to see some areas where we walked. Some things that stood out. Quiet streets. Very clean. Even public restrooms very clean. Very nice to walk. Transportation is the best. Electric tram, buses and trains super easy. Even gets you to and from the airport w ease. The people are not the warmest, I think, maybe just minding their own business. A very respectful society. Helsinki is very nice. Might be a little far from other European cities.
